Ezekiel 7:1 - Moreover, the word of the Lord came to me, saying,
Ezekiel 7:2 - “Also, son of man, thus says the Lord God to the land of Israel, ‘An end! The end is coming on the four corners of the land.
Ezekiel 7:3 - Now the end is upon you, and I will send My anger against you and will judge you in accordance with your ways and I will bring [retribution for] all your abominations upon you.
Ezekiel 7:4 - For My eye will have no pity on you, nor will I spare you, but I will repay you for your evil ways, while your abominations are among you; and you will know (recognize, understand) [without any doubt] that I am the Lord.’
Ezekiel 7:5 - “Thus says the Lord God, ‘A disaster is coming, [one so destructive and injurious, so sudden and violent, that it stands alone,] a unique disaster, look it is coming!
Ezekiel 7:6 - An end is coming; the end has come! It has awakened against you. Look, it has come!
Ezekiel 7:7 - Your doom has come to you, O inhabitant of the land; the time has come, the day is near—tumult rather than joyful shouting on the mountains.
Ezekiel 7:8 - Now I will soon pour out My wrath on you and spend My anger against you, and I will judge you in accordance with your ways and will repay you [with punishment] for all your outrageous acts.
Ezekiel 7:9 - My eye will show no pity nor will I spare [you]. I will repay you in accordance with your ways, while your abominations are in your midst; then you will know and understand that it is I, the Lord, who strikes you.
Ezekiel 7:10 - ‘Behold, the day! Behold, it is coming! Your doom has gone forth, the rod has blossomed, arrogance has sprouted.
Ezekiel 7:11 - Violence has grown into a rod of wickedness; none of them (Israel) will remain, none of their people, none of their wealth, nor anything eminent among them.
Ezekiel 7:12 - The time has come, the day has arrived. Let not the buyer rejoice nor the seller mourn, for wrath is against all their multitude [of people].
Exodus 7:17 - Thus says the Lord, “By this you shall know and recognize and acknowledge that I am the Lord: look, with the staff in my hand I will strike the water in the Nile, and it shall be turned to blood.
Exodus 7:18 - The fish in the Nile will die, and the Nile will become foul, and the Egyptians will not be able to drink water from the Nile.” ’ ”
Exodus 7:19 - Then the Lord said to Moses, “Say to Aaron, ‘Take your staff and stretch out your hand over the waters of Egypt, over their rivers, over their streams, over their pools, and over all their reservoirs of water, so that they may become blood; and there shall be blood throughout all the land of Egypt, in containers both of wood and of stone.’ ”
Exodus 7:20 - So Moses and Aaron did as the Lord commanded; Aaron lifted up the staff and struck the waters in the Nile, in the sight of Pharaoh and in the sight of his servants, and all the water that was in the Nile was turned into blood.
Exodus 7:21 - The fish in the Nile died, and the river became foul smelling, and the Egyptians could not drink its water, and there was blood throughout all the land of Egypt.
Exodus 7:22 - But the magicians of Egypt did the same by their secret arts and enchantments; so Pharaoh’s heart was hardened, and he did not listen to Moses and Aaron, just as the Lord had said.
Exodus 7:23 - Then Pharaoh turned and went into his house, and he did not take even this [divine sign] to heart.
Exodus 7:24 - So all the Egyptians dug near the river for water to drink, because they could not drink the water of the Nile.
Exodus 7:25 - Seven days passed after the Lord had struck the Nile.
Psalms 105:26 - He sent Moses His servant, And Aaron, whom He had chosen.
Psalms 105:27 - They exhibited His wondrous signs among them, Great miracles in the land of Ham (Egypt).
Psalms 105:28 - He sent [thick, oppressive] darkness and made the land dark; And Moses and Aaron did not rebel against His words.
Psalms 105:29 - He turned Egypt’s waters into blood And caused their fish to die.
Psalms 105:30 - Their land swarmed with frogs, Even in the chambers of their kings.
Psalms 105:31 - He spoke, and there came swarms of flies And gnats in all their territory.
Psalms 105:32 - He gave them hail for rain, With flaming fire in their land.
Psalms 105:33 - He struck their vines also and their fig trees, And shattered the [ice-laden] trees of their territory.
Psalms 105:34 - He spoke, and the [migratory] locusts came, And the young locusts, even without number,
Psalms 105:35 - And ate up all the vegetation in their land, And devoured the fruit of their ground.
Psalms 105:36 - He also struck down all the firstborn in their land, The first fruits and chief substance of all their strength.
James 5:16 - Therefore, confess your sins to one another [your false steps, your offenses], and pray for one another, that you may be healed and restored. The heartfelt and persistent prayer of a righteous man (believer) is able to accomplish much [when put into action and made effective by God—it is dynamic and can have tremendous power].
James 5:17 - Elijah was a man with a nature like ours [with the same physical, mental, and spiritual limitations and shortcomings], and he prayed intensely for it not to rain, and it did not rain on the earth for three years and six months.
James 5:18 - Then he prayed again, and the sky gave rain and the land produced its crops [as usual].
1 Samuel 4:8 - Woe to us! Who will rescue us from the hand of these mighty gods? These are the gods who struck the Egyptians with all kinds of plagues in the wilderness.
Luke 4:25 - But in truth I say to you, there were many widows in Israel in the days of Elijah, when the sky was closed up for three years and six months, when a great famine came over all the land;
1 Kings 17:1 - Now Elijah the Tishbite, who was of the settlers of Gilead, said to Ahab, “As the Lord, the God of Israel lives, before whom I stand, there shall be neither dew nor rain these years, except by my word.”
