  • Luke 12:37 - Blessed (happy, prosperous, to be admired) are those servants whom the master finds awake and watching when he arrives. I assure you and most solemnly say to you, he will prepare himself to serve, and will have them recline at the table, and will come and wait on them.
  • Luke 12:38 - Whether he comes in the second watch (before midnight), or even in the third (after midnight), and finds them so [prepared and ready], blessed are those servants.

  • 1 Corinthians 7:19 - Circumcision is nothing, and uncircumcision is nothing, but what matters is keeping the commandments of God.

  • Psalms 119:2 - Blessed and favored by God are those who keep His testimonies, And who [consistently] seek Him and long for Him with all their heart.
  • Psalms 119:3 - They do no unrighteousness; They walk in His ways.
  • Psalms 119:4 - You have ordained Your precepts, That we should follow them with [careful] diligence.
  • Psalms 119:5 - Oh, that my ways may be established To observe and keep Your statutes [obediently accepting and honoring them]!
  • Psalms 119:6 - Then I will not be ashamed When I look [with respect] to all Your commandments [as my guide].
  • Revelation 2:7 - He who has an ear, let him hear and heed what the Spirit says to the churches. To him who overcomes [the world through believing that Jesus is the Son of God], I will grant [the privilege] to eat [the fruit] from the tree of life, which is in the Paradise of God.’
  • 1 John 3:23 - This is His commandment, that we believe [with personal faith and confident trust] in the name of His Son Jesus Christ, and [that we unselfishly] love and seek the best for one another, just as He commanded us.
  • 1 John 3:24 - The one who habitually keeps His commandments [obeying His word and following His precepts, abides and] remains in Him, and He in him. By this we know and have the proof that He [really] abides in us, by the Spirit whom He has given us [as a gift].
  • Revelation 22:7 - “And behold, I am coming quickly. Blessed (happy, prosperous, to be admired) is the one who heeds and takes to heart and remembers the words of the prophecy [that is, the predictions, consolations, and warnings] contained in this book (scroll).”
  • 1 John 5:3 - For the [true] love of God is this: that we habitually keep His commandments and remain focused on His precepts. And His commandments and His precepts are not difficult [to obey].
  • Revelation 21:27 - and nothing that defiles or profanes or is unwashed will ever enter it, nor anyone who practices abominations [detestable, morally repugnant things] and lying, but only those [will be admitted] whose names have been written in the Lamb’s Book of Life.
