  • 1 Samuel 6:6 - Don’t be stubborn and rebellious as Pharaoh and the Egyptians were. By the time God was finished with them, they were eager to let Israel go.

  • Job 21:30 - Evil people are spared in times of calamity and are allowed to escape disaster.
  • 2 Chronicles 30:8 - Do not be stubborn, as they were, but submit yourselves to the Lord. Come to his Temple, which he has set apart as holy forever. Worship the Lord your God so that his fierce anger will turn away from you.
  • Hebrews 3:15 - Remember what it says: “Today when you hear his voice, don’t harden your hearts as Israel did when they rebelled.”
  • Jude 1:6 - And I remind you of the angels who did not stay within the limits of authority God gave them but left the place where they belonged. God has kept them securely chained in prisons of darkness, waiting for the great day of judgment.
  • 2 Peter 3:7 - And by the same word, the present heavens and earth have been stored up for fire. They are being kept for the day of judgment, when ungodly people will be destroyed.
  • 2 Peter 2:9 - So you see, the Lord knows how to rescue godly people from their trials, even while keeping the wicked under punishment until the day of final judgment.
