  • Jeremiah 17:8 - They will be like a tree planted near water. It sends out its roots beside a stream. It is not afraid when heat comes. Its leaves are always green. It does not worry when there is no rain. It always bears fruit.”
  • Ephesians 4:30 - Do not make God’s Holy Spirit mourn. The Holy Spirit is the proof that you belong to God. And the Spirit is the proof that God will set you completely free.
  • 2 Corinthians 3:18 - None of our faces are covered with a veil. All of us can see the Lord’s glory and think deeply about it. So we are being changed to become more like him so that we have more and more glory. And this glory comes from the Lord, who is the Holy Spirit.

  • Matthew 22:37 - Jesus replied, “ ‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul. Love him with all your mind.’ ( Deuteronomy 6:5 )
  • 2 Corinthians 4:6 - God said, “Let light shine out of darkness.” ( Genesis 1:3 ) He made his light shine in our hearts. His light gives us the light to know God’s glory. His glory is shown in the face of Christ.
  • Isaiah 28:15 - You brag, “We have entered into a covenant with the place of the dead. We have made an agreement with the grave. When a terrible plague comes to punish us, it can’t touch us. That’s because we depend on lies to keep us safe. We hide behind what isn’t true.”
  • Isaiah 28:16 - So the Lord and King speaks. He says, “Look! I am laying a stone in Zion. It is a stone that has been tested. It is the most important stone for a firm foundation. The one who depends on that stone will never be shaken.
  • Isaiah 28:17 - I will use a measuring line to prove that you have not been fair. I will use a plumb line to prove that you have not done what is right. Hail will sweep away the lies you depend on to keep you safe. Water will flood your hiding place.
  • Isaiah 28:18 - Your covenant with death will be called off. The agreement you made with the place of the dead will not stand. When the terrible plague comes to punish you, you will be struck down by it.
  • Ezekiel 36:25 - I will sprinkle pure water on you. Then you will be ‘clean.’ I will make you completely pure and ‘clean.’ I will take all the statues of your gods away from you.
  • 2 Thessalonians 2:16 - Our Lord Jesus Christ and God our Father loved us. By his grace God gave us comfort that will last forever. The hope he gave us is good. May our Lord Jesus Christ and God our Father
  • 2 Corinthians 1:22 - He put his Spirit in our hearts and marked us as his own. We can now be sure that he will give us everything he promised us.
  • Isaiah 49:23 - Their kings will become like fathers to you. Their queens will be like mothers who nurse you. They will bow down to you with their faces toward the ground. They will kiss the dust at your feet to show you their respect. Then you will know that I am the Lord. Those who put their hope in me will not be ashamed.”

  • Galatians 5:22 - But the fruit the Holy Spirit produces is love, joy and peace. It is being patient, kind and good. It is being faithful
  • Romans 8:14 - Those who are led by the Spirit of God are children of God.
  • Romans 8:15 - The Spirit you received doesn’t make you slaves. Otherwise you would live in fear again. Instead, the Holy Spirit you received made you God’s adopted child. By the Spirit’s power we call God Abba. Abba means Father.
  • Romans 8:16 - The Spirit himself joins with our spirits. Together they tell us that we are God’s children.
  • Romans 8:17 - As his children, we will receive all that he has for us. We will share what Christ receives. But we must share in his sufferings if we want to share in his glory.
  • Hebrews 6:18 - When God made his promise, he gave his word. He did this so we would have good reason not to give up. Instead, we have run to take hold of the hope set before us. This hope is set before us in God’s promise. So God made his promise and gave his word. These two things can’t change. He couldn’t lie about them.
  • Hebrews 6:19 - Our hope is certain. It is something for the soul to hold on to. It is strong and secure. It goes all the way into the Most Holy Room behind the curtain.
  • 2 Timothy 1:12 - That’s why I’m suffering the way I am. But this gives me no reason to be ashamed. That’s because I know who I have believed in. I am sure he is able to take care of what I have given him. I can trust him with it until the day he returns as judge.
  • Acts 2:33 - Jesus has been given a place of honor at the right hand of God. He has received the Holy Spirit from the Father. This is what God had promised. It is Jesus who has poured out what you now see and hear.
  • Hebrews 8:10 - This is the covenant I will establish with the people of Israel after that time, says the Lord. I will put my laws in their minds. I will write them on their hearts. I will be their God. And they will be my people.
  • Hebrews 8:11 - People will not teach their neighbor anymore. They will not say to one another, ‘Know the Lord.’ That’s because everyone will know me. From the least important to the most important, all of them will know me.
  • Hebrews 8:12 - I will forgive their evil ways. I will not remember their sins anymore.” ( Jeremiah 31:31–34 )
  • Ephesians 3:16 - I pray that he will use his glorious riches to make you strong. May his Holy Spirit give you his power deep down inside you.
  • Ephesians 3:17 - Then Christ will live in your hearts because you believe in him. And I pray that your love will have deep roots. I pray that it will have a strong foundation.
  • Ephesians 3:18 - May you have power together with all the Lord’s holy people to understand Christ’s love. May you know how wide and long and high and deep it is.
  • Ephesians 3:19 - And may you know his love, even though it can’t be known completely. Then you will be filled with everything God has for you.
  • Job 27:8 - What hope do ungodly people have when their lives are cut short? What hope do they have when God takes away their lives?
  • Isaiah 44:3 - I will pour out water on the thirsty land. I will make streams flow on the dry ground. I will pour out my Spirit on your children. I will pour out my blessing on their children after them.

  • Philippians 1:20 - I completely expect and hope that I won’t be ashamed in any way. I’m sure I will be brave enough. Now as always Christ will receive glory because of what happens to me. He will receive glory whether I live or die.
