耶布斯人对大卫说：“你必不能进到这里。”然而大卫攻取了锡安的堡垒，就是大卫的城。

耶布斯的居民对大卫说：“你不能进这里来。”可是大卫占领了锡安的堡垒，锡安就是大卫城。

耶布斯人謂大衛曰、爾必不得入此、然大衛取錫安之保障、即大衛城、

耶布士人告大闢曰、爾不得入此、郇邑險要、大闢陷之、故以己名稱其邑曰、大闢。

耶布斯人謂大衛曰、爾不能至此、大衛取郇之保障、郇之保障即大衛之城、

said to David,“ You will not get in here.” Nevertheless, David captured the fortress of Zion— which is the City of David.

said to David,“ You won’t get in here.” But David captured the fort of Zion. It became known as the City of David.

The inhabitants of Jebus said to David,“ You will not come in here.” Nevertheless, David took the stronghold of Zion, that is, the city of David.

The people of Jebus taunted David, saying,“ You’ll never get in here!” But David captured the fortress of Zion, which is now called the City of David.

The inhabitants of Jebus said to David,“ You will never get in here.” Yet David did capture the stronghold of Zion, that is, the city of David.

The inhabitants of Jebus said to David,“ You shall not enter here.” Nevertheless David took the mountain stronghold of Zion( that is, the city of David).

But the inhabitants of Jebus said to David,“ You shall not come in here!” Nevertheless David took the stronghold of Zion( that is, the City of David).

And the inhabitants of Jebus said to David, Thou shalt not come in hither. Nevertheless David took the stronghold of Zion; the same is the city of David.

The inhabitants of Jebus said to David,“ You will never get in here.” Yet David did capture the stronghold of Zion, that is, the city of David.

And the inhabitants of Jebus said to David, Thou shalt not come hither. Nevertheless David took the castle of Zion, which[ is] the city of David.

The residents of Jebus said to David,“ You cannot invade this place!” But David captured the fortress of Zion( that is, the City of David).

The inhabitants of Jebus said to David,“ You will not come in here.” Nevertheless David took the stronghold of Zion. The same is David’s city.

他若能与我决斗，把我杀死，我们就作你们的奴隶；我若胜了他，把他杀死，你们就作我们的奴隶，服事我们。”那非利士人又说：“我今日向以色列的军队骂阵。你们叫一个人出来，跟我决斗吧。”

大卫住在堡垒里，给它起名叫大卫城。大卫又从米罗往内，周围建筑。

就如经上所记：“我在锡安放一块绊脚的石头，使人跌倒的磐石；信靠他的人必不蒙羞。”

却拣选犹大支派，拣选他所喜爱的锡安山；

那时，所罗门召集以色列的长老、各支派的领袖和以色列人的族长到耶路撒冷，所罗门王那里，要把耶和华的约柜从大卫城，就是锡安，接上来。

大卫住在堡垒里，所以那堡垒叫作大卫城。

论到锡安，必有话说：“这一个、那一个都生在其中”；而且至高者必亲自坚立这城。

倚靠耶和华的人好像锡安山，安稳坐镇，永不动摇。众山怎样围绕耶路撒冷，耶和华也照样围绕他的百姓，从今时直到永远。

你仆人曾打死狮子和熊，这未受割礼的非利士人必像狮子和熊一样，因为他向永生神的军队骂阵。”

大卫对站在旁边的人说：“若有人杀这非利士人，除掉以色列人的羞辱，他会怎样呢？这未受割礼的非利士人是谁，竟敢向永生神的军队骂阵！”

因为耶和华拣选了锡安，愿意当作自己的居所：

我又观看，看见羔羊站在锡安山，和他在一起的有十四万四千人，都有他的名和他父亲的名写在额上。

耶和华发尽他的愤怒，倾倒他的烈怒，用火焚烧锡安，烧毁锡安的根基。地上的君王和世上的居民都不信敌人和仇敌竟能进入耶路撒冷的城门。

于是，所罗门召集以色列的长老、各支派的领袖和以色列人的族长到耶路撒冷，要把耶和华的约柜从大卫城，就是锡安，接上来。

应当歌颂居于锡安的耶和华，将他所做的传扬在万民中。

他们在那里设立审判的宝座，就是大卫家的宝座。

“我已经在锡安—我的圣山膏立了我的君王。”

耶和华爱锡安的门，胜于爱雅各一切的住处。

你们当周游锡安，四围环绕，数点城楼，细看它的城郭，察看它的宫殿，为要传扬给后代。

锡安山—大君王的城，在北面居高华美，为全地所喜悦。

有人告诉大卫王说：“耶和华因约柜的缘故赐福给俄别‧以东的家和一切属他的。”大卫就去，欢欢喜喜地将神的约柜从俄别‧以东家中接上来，到大卫城里。

于是大卫不愿将耶和华的约柜接进大卫城他自己的地方，却转送到迦特人俄别‧以东的家中。

但是你们是来到锡安山，永生神的城，就是天上的耶路撒冷，那里有千千万万的天使，
