爾中有相爭之事、何敢訟於不義者前、而不訟於聖徒前乎、

兄弟間如有訟案、理當請聖徒決斷；豈有逕向不義者請求裁判者乎？

If any of you has a dispute with another, do you dare to take it before the ungodly for judgment instead of before the Lord’s people?

Suppose one of you wants to bring a charge against another believer. Should you take it to ungodly people to be judged? Why not take it to the Lord’s people?

When one of you has a grievance against another, does he dare go to law before the unrighteous instead of the saints?

When one of you has a dispute with another believer, how dare you file a lawsuit and ask a secular court to decide the matter instead of taking it to other believers!

Does any one of you, when he has a case against his neighbor, dare to go to law before the unrighteous and not before the saints?

Dare any of you, having a matter against another, go to law before the unrighteous, and not before the saints?

Dare any of you, having a matter against his neighbor, go to law before the unrighteous, and not before the saints?

If any of you has a legal dispute against another, do you dare go to court before the unrighteous, and not before the saints?

So if Demetrius and the craftsmen who are with him have a case against anyone, the courts are in session, and there are proconsuls. Let them bring charges against one another.

As Paul was about to open his mouth, Gallio said to the Jews,“ If it were a matter of wrongdoing or of a serious crime, it would be reasonable for me to put up with you Jews.But if these are questions about words, names, and your own law, see to it yourselves. I refuse to be a judge of such things.”

Instead, brother goes to court against brother, and that before unbelievers!As it is, to have legal disputes against one another is already a defeat for you. Why not rather be wronged? Why not rather be cheated?

since God is not a God of disorder but of peace. As in all the churches of the saints,

“ If your brother sins against you, go tell him his fault, between you and him alone. If he listens to you, you have won your brother.But if he won’t listen, take one or two others with you, so that by the testimony of two or three witnesses every fact may be established.If he doesn’t pay attention to them, tell the church. If he doesn’t pay attention even to the church, let him be like a Gentile and a tax collector to you.

Now about the collection for the saints: Do the same as I instructed the Galatian churches.
