Or don’t you know that the saints will judge the world? And if the world is judged by you, are you unworthy to judge the trivial cases?

難道你們不知道，聖徒將要審判這世界嗎？如果連世界都要被你們審判，難道你們還不配審理這些最小的事嗎？

豈不知聖徒將鞫世乎、世且為爾鞫、而不堪鞫細事乎、

豈不知聖徒將以鞫世、世且為爾鞫、而謂不當鞫小事乎、

豈不知聖徒將審判世界乎、世界既為爾審判、爾不堪審判小事乎、

爾豈不知聖徒必將審判世界乎？世界尚受爾審判、豈曰不能處理細事乎？

Or do you not know that the Lord’s people will judge the world? And if you are to judge the world, are you not competent to judge trivial cases?

Or don’t you know that the Lord’s people will judge the world? Since this is true, aren’t you able to judge small cases?

Or do you not know that the saints will judge the world? And if the world is to be judged by you, are you incompetent to try trivial cases?

Don’t you realize that someday we believers will judge the world? And since you are going to judge the world, can’t you decide even these little things among yourselves?

Or do you not know that the saints will judge the world? If the world is judged by you, are you not competent to form the smallest law courts?

Do you not know that the saints will judge the world? And if the world will be judged by you, are you unworthy to judge the smallest matters?

Or know ye not that the saints shall judge the world? and if the world is judged by you, are ye unworthy to judge the smallest matters?

Or don’t you know that the saints will judge the world? And if the world is judged by you, are you unworthy to judge the smallest cases?

Do ye not know that the saints shall judge the world? and if the world shall be judged by you, are ye unworthy to judge the smallest matters?

so that you may eat and drink at my table in my kingdom. And you will sit on thrones judging the twelve tribes of Israel.

Jesus said to them,“ Truly I tell you, in the renewal of all things, when the Son of Man sits on his glorious throne, you who have followed me will also sit on twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.

until the Ancient of Days arrived and a judgment was given in favor of the holy ones of the Most High, for the time had come, and the holy ones took possession of the kingdom.

Then I saw thrones, and people seated on them who were given authority to judge. I also saw the souls of those who had been beheaded because of their testimony about Jesus and because of the word of God, who had not worshiped the beast or his image, and who had not accepted the mark on their foreheads or their hands. “ To the one who conquers I will give the right to sit with me on my throne, just as I also conquered and sat down with my Father on his throne.

The one who conquers and who keeps my works to the end: I will give him authority over the nations—and he will rule them with an iron scepter; he will shatter them like pottery—

But the holy ones of the Most High will receive the kingdom and possess it forever, yes, forever and ever.’

Let the faithful celebrate in triumphal glory; let them shout for joy on their beds.Let the exaltation of God be in their mouths and a double-edged sword in their hands,inflicting vengeance on the nations and punishment on the peoples,binding their kings with chains and their dignitaries with iron shackles,carrying out the judgment decreed against them. This honor is for all his faithful people. Hallelujah!

May he make your hearts blameless in holiness before our God and Father at the coming of our Lord Jesus with all his saints. Amen.

So if you have such matters, do you appoint as your judges those who have no standing in the church?

So we do not focus on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.

Like sheep they are headed for Sheol; Death will shepherd them. The upright will rule over them in the morning, and their form will waste away in Sheol, far from their lofty abode.

It was about these that Enoch, in the seventh generation from Adam, prophesied:“ Look! You will flee by my mountain valley, for the valley of the mountains will extend to Azal. You will flee as you fled from the earthquake in the days of King Uzziah of Judah. Then the LORD my God will come and all the holy ones with him.

For everything in the world— the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride in one’s possessions— is not from the Father, but is from the world.And the world with its lust is passing away, but the one who does the will of God remains forever.
