蓋爾素為暗、今宗主而為光、當如光明之人而行、

並自耶穌基督、即忠信之證、由死而首生、為世上諸王之主者也、彼愛我儕、以其血釋我諸罪、

夜既央、晝伊邇、我儕宜脫昏暗之行、而服光明之甲、

夫上帝乃光、無少暗昧、此我聞於彼、而報於爾之示諭也、

況基督由永生之神、獻己於上帝、無有瑕疵、其血不尤能潔爾良去死行以事維生之上帝乎、

耶穌曰、光在爾中、暫耳、有光則宜行、免暗及爾、行於暗者、不知所往矣、

爾中素有如是者、惟以主耶穌基督名、及我上帝之神、已洗滌成聖而見義焉、○

是日必有源泉、為大衛家、及耶路撒冷居民而闢、以去罪戾污穢、

夫我以所見所聞者語爾、使爾心交於我儕、我儕亦心交於父、及其子耶穌基督、

惟彼永生、居於不得近之光、人所未見、亦不能見、願至尊與永權歸之、阿們、○

光輝為行義者而佈、喜樂為心正者所獲、

蓋為證者三、神也、水也、血也、此三者合於一也、

翌日、約翰見耶穌來、則曰、觀上帝之羔、乃負世之罪者、

蓋爾拯我魂於死亡、豈不佑我足、不至顚蹶、俾我行於生命光中、在上帝前兮、

諸兄弟因羔之血並所證之道勝之、乃不愛己生以至於死也、

雅各家其來、共行於耶和華光輝之中、

凡美善之施、純全之賚、皆由於上、自光明之父而降、彼無變易、無移影、

二人若不相約、豈能偕行乎、
