是日上帝僕示預兆曰、此壇必裂、灰必傾、是乃耶和華所言之預兆、

上帝之僕預言異跡曰、此壇必裂、其灰盡傾、是耶和華所預言之異跡。

神人又設一預兆曰、此壇必裂、其上之灰必傾、此主所言之預兆、

That same day the man of God gave a sign:“ This is the sign the Lord has declared: The altar will be split apart and the ashes on it will be poured out.”

That same day the man of God spoke about a miraculous sign. He said,“ Here is the sign the Lord has announced. This altar will be broken to pieces. The ashes on it will be spilled out.”

And he gave a sign the same day, saying,“ This is the sign that the Lord has spoken:‘ Behold, the altar shall be torn down, and the ashes that are on it shall be poured out.’”

That same day the man of God gave a sign to prove his message. He said,“ The Lord has promised to give this sign: This altar will split apart, and its ashes will be poured out on the ground.”

He gave a sign that day. He said,“ This is the sign that the LORD has spoken:‘ The altar will now be ripped apart, and the ashes that are on it will be poured out.’”

Then he gave a sign on the same day, saying,“ This is the sign which the Lord has spoken:‘ Behold, the altar shall be torn to pieces and the ashes which are on it shall be poured out.’ ”

And he gave a sign the same day, saying,“ This is the sign which the Lord has spoken: Surely the altar shall split apart, and the ashes on it shall be poured out.”

And he gave a sign the same day, saying, This is the sign which Jehovah hath spoken: Behold, the altar shall be rent, and the ashes that are upon it shall be poured out.

He gave a sign that day. He said,“ This is the sign that the Lord has spoken:‘ The altar will now be ripped apart, and the ashes that are on it will be poured out.’”

And he gave a sign the same day, saying, This[ is] the sign which the LORD hath spoken; Behold, the altar shall be rent, and the ashes that[ are] upon it shall be poured out.

That day he also announced a sign,“ This is the sign the LORD has predetermined: The altar will be split open and the ashes on it will fall to the ground.”

He gave a sign the same day, saying,“ This is the sign which Yahweh has spoken: Behold, the altar will be split apart, and the ashes that are on it will be poured out.”

猶太人要的是神蹟，希臘人求的是智慧，

基甸對他說：「我若在你眼前蒙恩，求你給我一個證據，證明是你在跟我說話。

耶和華說：「把它丟在地上！」他一丟在地上，杖就變成一條蛇；摩西逃走避開牠。耶和華對摩西說：「伸出手來，拿住牠的尾巴－摩西就伸出手，抓住牠，牠就在摩西的手掌中變為杖－為了要使他們信耶和華他們祖宗的神，就是亞伯拉罕的神，以撒的神，雅各的神，曾向你顯現了。」

因此猶太人問他：「你能顯甚麼神蹟給我們看，表明你可以做這些事呢？」

希西家說：「我能上耶和華的殿，有甚麼預兆呢？」

摩西和亞倫到法老那裏去，照耶和華所吩咐的去做。亞倫把杖丟在法老和他臣僕面前，杖就變成蛇。

希西家對以賽亞說：「耶和華必醫治我，到第三日我能上耶和華的殿，有甚麼預兆呢？」

當時，有幾個文士和法利賽人對耶穌說：「老師，我們想請你顯個神蹟給我們看看。」耶穌回答他們：「邪惡淫亂的世代求看神蹟，除了先知約拿的神蹟以外，再沒有神蹟給他們看了。約拿三日三夜在大魚肚腹中，同樣，人子也要三日三夜在地裏面。

你的兩個兒子何弗尼、非尼哈所遭遇的事是給你的預兆：他們二人必在同一日死亡。

我要救你和這城脫離亞述王的手，也要保護這城。』「耶和華必成就他所說的這話。這是耶和華給你的預兆：看哪，我要使亞哈斯日晷上隨太陽前進的影子，往後退十度。」於是，在日晷上照下來的日影果然往後退了十度。

「你向耶和華－你的神求一個預兆：在陰間的深淵，或往上的高處。」但亞哈斯說：「我不求；我不試探耶和華。」以賽亞說：「聽啊，大衛家！你們使人厭煩豈算小事，還要使我的神厭煩嗎？因此，主自己要給你們一個預兆，看哪，必有童女懷孕生子，給他起名叫以馬內利。

倘若他們不信你，也不聽第一個神蹟的聲音，他們會信第二個神蹟的聲音。倘若他們不信這兩個神蹟，不聽你的話，你就從尼羅河裏取些水，倒在乾的地上。你從尼羅河裏所取的水必在乾地上變成血。」

「你中間若有先知或是做夢的人起來，向你顯神蹟奇事，他對你說的神蹟奇事應驗了，說：『我們去隨從別神，事奉它們吧。』那是你不認識的。你不可聽那先知或是那做夢之人的話，因為這是耶和華－你們的神考驗你們，要知道你們是否盡心盡性愛耶和華－你們的神。

我在這地方懲罰你們，必有預兆，使你們知道我降禍給你們的話必站得住。這是耶和華說的。
