And Solomon ruled over all the kingdoms from the Euphrates River to the land of the Philistines, as far as the border of Egypt. These countries brought tribute and were Solomon’s subjects all his life.

In the same day the LORD made a covenant with Abram, saying, Unto thy seed have I given this land, from the river of Egypt unto the great river, the river Euphrates:

Because of thy temple at Jerusalem shall kings bring presents unto thee.

And he reigned over all the kings from the river even unto the land of the Philistines, and to the border of Egypt.And the king made silver in Jerusalem as stones, and cedar trees made he as the sycomore trees that[ are] in the low plains in abundance.And they brought unto Solomon horses out of Egypt, and out of all lands.Now the rest of the acts of Solomon, first and last,[ are] they not written in the book of Nathan the prophet, and in the prophecy of Ahijah the Shilonite, and in the visions of Iddo the seer against Jeroboam the son of Nebat?And Solomon reigned in Jerusalem over all Israel forty years.And Solomon slept with his fathers, and he was buried in the city of David his father: and Rehoboam his son reigned in his stead.

Therefore the LORD stablished the kingdom in his hand; and all Judah brought to Jehoshaphat presents; and he had riches and honour in abundance.

For he had dominion over all[ the region] on this side the river, from Tiphsah even to Azzah, over all the kings on this side the river: and he had peace on all sides round about him.

Every place whereon the soles of your feet shall tread shall be yours: from the wilderness and Lebanon, from the river, the river Euphrates, even unto the uttermost sea shall your coast be.

Vow, and pay unto the LORD your God: let all that be round about him bring presents unto him that ought to be feared.

Against him came up Shalmaneser king of Assyria; and Hoshea became his servant, and gave him presents.

And many brought gifts unto the LORD to Jerusalem, and presents to Hezekiah king of Judah: so that he was magnified in the sight of all nations from thenceforth.
