When the Lord saw that they humbled themselves, this word of the Lord came to Shemaiah:“ Since they have humbled themselves, I will not destroy them but will soon give them deliverance. My wrath will not be poured out on Jerusalem through Shishak.

The Lord saw they had made themselves humble. So he gave a message to Shemaiah. The Lord said,“ They have made themselves humble in my sight. So I will not destroy them. Instead, I will soon save them. Even though I am very angry with Jerusalem, I will not use Shishak to destroy them.

When the Lord saw that they humbled themselves, the word of the Lord came to Shemaiah:“ They have humbled themselves. I will not destroy them, but I will grant them some deliverance, and my wrath shall not be poured out on Jerusalem by the hand of Shishak.

When the Lord saw their change of heart, he gave this message to Shemaiah:“ Since the people have humbled themselves, I will not completely destroy them and will soon give them some relief. I will not use Shishak to pour out my anger on Jerusalem.

他们对耶和华说：“我们犯了罪，任你处置我们，只求你今天拯救我们。”以色列人除掉了他们的外邦神像，转而事奉耶和华。耶和华不忍再看以色列人受苦。

第一位天使离去，将碗倒在了地上，那些有怪兽的印记、敬拜兽像的人身上长出奇痛无比的毒疮。第二位天使将碗倒在了海洋里，海水变得像死人的血，海中的活物都死光了。第三位天使将碗倒在了江河与水泉里，水就变成了血。我听见掌管各水源的天使说：“昔在今在的圣者啊！你是公义的，因为你施行了审判。由于他们流了众圣徒和先知们的血，现在你使他们喝血，这正是他们应得的报应。”我又听见从祭坛发出的声音说：“是的，全能的主上帝，你的判决真实公义。”第四位天使将碗倒在太阳上，太阳就变得炙热如火，可以灼伤人。人们被炙热灼伤，就亵渎掌管这些灾祸的上帝的名，他们毫无悔意，不肯归荣耀给上帝。第五位天使将碗倒在那海中怪兽的座位上，它的国便被黑暗笼罩，它的国民痛苦难当，咬自己的舌头。他们因为痛苦和毒疮就亵渎天上的上帝，不肯为自己的所作所为悔改。第六位天使将碗倒在幼发拉底大河上，河水立刻干了，为东方各国的王预备了道路。我又看见三个像青蛙一样的污鬼分别从巨龙、怪兽和假先知的口里跳出来。其实它们都是鬼魔的灵，能行奇迹。它们到普天下召集各王，预备在全能上帝的大日子来临时聚集争战。“看啊！我要像贼一样出其不意地来到。那警醒等候，看守自己衣裳，不致赤身行走蒙受羞辱的人有福了。”鬼魔把众王召集到一个希伯来话叫哈米吉多顿的地方。第七位天使将碗倒在空中时，从殿里的宝座上传出响亮的声音说：“成了！”

求你把烈怒撒向那些不承认你的列邦，撒向那些不求告你的列国。

于是，耶和华心生怜悯，说：“我也不降这灾了。”以下是祂让我看见的异象：看啊，主站在一道按照准绳建造的墙边，手里拿着准绳。耶和华对我说：“阿摩司，你看见什么？”我答道：“一条准绳。”主说：“我要在我的以色列子民中吊起准绳，量度他们，我不会再饶恕他们。

耶和华因为与亚伯拉罕、以撒、雅各所立的约，就恩待以色列人，怜悯、眷顾他们，至今仍不愿灭绝他们，没有把他们从自己面前赶走。

我要动身回到我父亲身边，对他说，父亲，我得罪了天，也得罪了你，今后，我再也不配做你的儿子，请把我当作雇工看待吧。’于是他动身回家。“他父亲远远地看见他，就动了慈心，跑上前去抱着他连连亲吻。小儿子说，‘父亲，我得罪了天，也得罪了你，今后，我再也不配做你的儿子。’

“你们去为我、为以色列和犹大的余民求问耶和华有关这书卷上的话。耶和华的烈怒已经临到我们身上，因为我们的祖先没有遵守耶和华的话，没有遵行这书卷上的话。”

‘你必须要承认自己的罪，承认背叛了你的上帝耶和华，在绿荫树下祭拜各种外邦的神明，不听从我的话。’这是耶和华说的。

约哈斯求耶和华开恩，耶和华看见亚兰王非常残暴地欺压以色列人，便垂听他的祷告，赐给以色列人一位拯救者，从亚兰人手中救了他们。他们便像从前一样安居乐业。但他们一如既往地犯罪，没有离开耶罗波安家使以色列人犯的那些罪，在撒玛利亚仍然保留着亚舍拉神像。亚兰王像践踏尘土一样摧毁了约哈斯的军队。约哈斯只剩下五十名骑兵、十辆战车和一万步兵。

主耶和华说，‘我要向这地方的人、牲畜、田野的树木和地里的出产发怒，发烈怒，如无法熄灭的火。’”

但上帝充满怜悯，赦免了他们的罪，没有毁灭他们。祂多次收住怒气，没有完全发出祂的烈怒。

以致我与他们作对，把他们流放到敌国；如果他们顽固的心谦卑下来，甘愿接受刑罚，我便履行我与亚伯拉罕、以撒和雅各所立的约，眷顾那片土地。

所以，祂把烈怒和战火倾倒在他们身上。他们被火包围，却不明白；被烈火焚身，却不在乎。

都要喝上帝震怒的烈酒，就是祂怒杯里毫无掺杂的烈酒。他们要在圣天使和羔羊面前，在火和硫磺中受煎熬。

耶和华对提斯比人以利亚说：“你看见亚哈在我面前如何痛悔了吗？因为他在我面前痛悔，我不会在他有生之日降灾，我要等他儿子执政的时候，才降灾给他家。”
