All Judah rejoiced about the oath because they had sworn it wholeheartedly. They sought God eagerly, and he was found by them. So the Lord gave them rest on every side.

耶何耶大與民及王立約、必為耶和華之民、民眾皆往巴力廟毀之、摧其壇、碎其像、殺巴力之祭司瑪坦於壇前、耶何耶大設官守耶和華室、使利未人祭司掌之、昔大衛分其班次於耶和華室、使獻燔祭於耶和華、循摩西律所載、歡呼謳歌、依大衛所定之例、又立閽人守耶和華室門、凡不潔者、不許入之、乃率百夫長、貴胄民長、以及四境之民、自耶和華室、導王而下、由上門入王宮、俾踐國位、四境之民歡樂、邑內平康、亞他利雅見殺以刃、

我未嘗言於隱密幽暗之處、未嘗謂雅各子孫曰、爾尋求我、乃徒然也、我耶和華言公義、宣中正、

蓋我迫於二者之間、欲歸與基督偕在、是為愈美、

上帝安人、誰能罪之、上帝掩面、誰能覲之、於國於人皆然、

爾與利未人、及居爾中之賓旅、緣爾上帝耶和華賜爾暨家之福、而喜樂焉、○

耶和華歟、我於爾行鞫之道企望爾、我心慕爾名與爾誌、

今我有意與以色列之上帝耶和華立約、俾其烈怒轉離我儕、

耶和華使以色列人綏安、脫於四周之敵、歷日已久、約書亞亦壽高年邁、

國攻國、邑攻邑、互相糜爛、蓋上帝以諸難擾之也、

乃出迎亞撒、謂之曰、亞撒及猶大便雅憫眾歟、其聽我言、爾若從耶和華、耶和華則偕爾、爾若求之、則必遇之、爾若棄彼、彼必棄爾、

民聞律詞、咸哭、方伯尼希米、文士祭司以斯拉、與訓民之利未人、告之曰、今乃爾上帝耶和華之聖日、毋悲毋哭、

其道安樂、其徑平康、

爾義人當緣耶和華、歡欣悅懌、心正者因樂而呼兮、

爾公義之律例、我曾立誓為證、必守之兮、

我以爾法度為永業、蓋為我心所悅兮、
