Jehoiada and his sons brought out the king’s son and put the crown on him; they presented him with a copy of the covenant and proclaimed him king. They anointed him and shouted,“ Long live the king!”

Jehoiada and his sons brought Ahaziah’s son out. They put the crown on him. They gave him a copy of the covenant. And they announced that he was king. They anointed him. Then they shouted,“ May the king live a long time!”

Then Jehoiada and his sons brought out Joash, the king’s son, placed the crown on his head, and presented him with a copy of God’s laws. They anointed him and proclaimed him king, and everyone shouted,“ Long live the king!”

撒母耳對全體民眾說：「你們看到耶和華所揀選的人了嗎？在全民中，實在沒有人能與他相比。」民眾都呼喊說：「願王萬歲！」

地上的眾君王都起來，首領們也聚集在一起，抵擋主和他的基督。』「事實上，希律和本丟彼拉多，與外邦人和以色列子民果然在這城裡一同聚集，對付你所膏立的聖僕耶穌，

我找到我的僕人大衛，用我聖潔的膏油膏抹了他。

你廢棄了與你僕人所立的約，把他的冠冕踐踏在地。

是的，你用美好的祝福迎接他，把純金的冠冕戴在他頭上。

使他們成為我們神的國度和祭司；他們將要在地上做王。」

因此，君王們哪，你們當慎思明辨！地上的審判官哪，你們當接受警戒！你們當在敬畏中服事耶和華，當在戰兢中快樂！當親吻他的兒子，否則他一發怒，你們就在所行的路上滅亡，因為他的怒火片刻間就會燃起！所有投靠他的人是多麼蒙福啊！

那時候，大衛的朋友亞基人戶篩去見押沙龍，戶篩對押沙龍說：「願王萬歲！願王萬歲！」

我親愛的弟兄們，請聽！神難道不是揀選了世上的那些貧窮人，使他們在信仰上富有，並且做他國度的繼承人嗎？這國度是他應許給愛他之人的。

他在雅各中立下法度，在以色列中設立律法，這律法是他吩咐我們的祖先教導子孫的，

座位的周圍，還有二十四個座位；在那些寶座上，坐著二十四位長老，身穿白衣，頭戴金冠冕；

當求問神的訓誨和誡命！如果他們不按照這準則說話，他們就沒有曙光。

他的眼睛像火焰，頭上戴著許多王冠。他有一個寫好的名字，除了他自己以外，沒有人認識這名字。

以色列的長老們都來到希伯崙見王，大衛王在希伯崙，在耶和華面前與他們立約，他們就膏立大衛作以色列的王。

你要收起誡命，在我的門徒中封住訓誨。

二十四位長老就俯伏在坐寶座的那一位面前，敬拜活到永永遠遠的那一位，並且把自己的冠冕放在寶座前，說：

不過我們看見的是：那暫時比天使低微的耶穌，因著死亡的痛苦被賜予榮耀和尊貴為冠冕，好使他藉著神的恩典，替所有的人嘗了死的滋味。

君王們必作你兒女的撫養人，王后們必作你兒女的乳母；他們必臉伏於地，向你下拜，舔你腳上的塵土。那時，你就知道：我是耶和華，等候我的必不致蒙羞。」

我就到他身邊，把他殺了，因為我知道他倒下後必不能活了。這樣我取下他頭上的冠冕和胳膊上的臂環，帶到我主這裡來。」

撒母耳拿了一瓶膏油，澆在掃羅頭上，然後親吻他，說：「耶和華不是已經膏立你為領袖掌管他的繼業嗎？

前行後隨的人群呼喊說：「和散那歸於大衛的後裔！奉主名而來的那一位——是蒙祝福的！在至高之處——和散那！」

我必使他的仇敵披上恥辱；而他的冠冕必在他頭上發光。」

忍受試煉的人是蒙福的；因為他經過考驗以後，就要得到生命的冠冕，就是主應許給那些愛他之人的。
