耶和華對摩西、亞倫說：「逾越節的例是這樣：外邦人都不可吃這羊羔。但各人用銀子買的奴僕，既受了割禮就可以吃。寄居的和雇工人都不可吃。應當在一個房子裏吃；不可把一點肉從房子裏帶到外頭去。羊羔的骨頭一根也不可折斷。以色列全會眾都要守這禮。若有外人寄居在你們中間，願向耶和華守逾越節，他所有的男子務要受割禮，然後才容他前來遵守，他也就像本地人一樣；但未受割禮的，都不可吃這羊羔。本地人和寄居在你們中間的外人同歸一例。」耶和華怎樣吩咐摩西、亞倫，以色列眾人就怎樣行了。正當那日，耶和華將以色列人按着他們的軍隊，從埃及地領出來。

耶和華是良善正直的，所以他必指示罪人走正路。

人若看見弟兄犯了不至於死的罪，就當為他祈求，神必將生命賜給他；有至於死的罪，我不說當為這罪祈求。

耶和華啊，你的慈愛上及諸天；你的信實達到穹蒼。

『耶和華不輕易發怒，並有豐盛的慈愛，赦免罪孽和過犯；萬不以有罪的為無罪，必追討他的罪，自父及子，直到三、四代。』求你照你的大慈愛赦免這百姓的罪孽，好像你從埃及到如今常赦免他們一樣。」耶和華說：「我照着你的話赦免了他們。

「但那污穢而不潔淨自己的，要將他從會中剪除，因為他玷污了耶和華的聖所。除污穢的水沒有灑在他身上，他是不潔淨的。

主啊，你本為良善，樂意饒恕人，有豐盛的慈愛賜給凡求告你的人。

你本為善，所行的也善；求你將你的律例教訓我！
