以利亞對以利沙說：「耶和華差遣我往伯特利去，你可以留在這裏。」以利沙說：「我指着永生的耶和華，又指着你的性命起誓，我必不離開你。」於是二人下到伯特利。

以利亚对以利沙说：“你留在这里吧，因为耶和华差派我到伯特利去。”以利沙说：“我指着永活的耶和华和你的性命起誓：我必不离开你。”于是他们下到伯特利去。

以利亞對以利沙說：『永恆主差遣我就到伯特利那裏；你請在這裏等候着。』以利沙說：『我指着永活的永恆主、也指着你自己的性命、來起誓，我一定不離開你。』二人就下到伯特利。

以利亞謂以利沙曰、耶和華遣我至伯特利、請爾待此、以利沙曰、我指維生之耶和華、及爾生命而誓、我不離爾、於是二人下伯特利、

以利亞告以利沙曰、耶和華使我往伯特利、汝可待此。以利沙曰、我指耶和華而誓、亦指爾生命以誓、我不離爾。乃偕往伯特利。

以利亞謂以利沙曰、主遣我往伯特利、爾且待此、以利沙曰、我指永生主而誓、亦指爾之生命而誓、我不離爾、於是二人下伯特利、

Elijah said to Elisha,“ Stay here; the Lord has sent me to Bethel.” But Elisha said,“ As surely as the Lord lives and as you live, I will not leave you.” So they went down to Bethel.

Elijah said to Elisha,“ Stay here. The Lord has sent me to Bethel.” But Elisha said,“ I won’t leave you. And that’s just as sure as the Lord and you are alive.” So they went down to Bethel.

And Elijah said to Elisha,“ Please stay here, for the Lord has sent me as far as Bethel.” But Elisha said,“ As the Lord lives, and as you yourself live, I will not leave you.” So they went down to Bethel.

And Elijah said to Elisha,“ Stay here, for the Lord has told me to go to Bethel.” But Elisha replied,“ As surely as the Lord lives and you yourself live, I will never leave you!” So they went down together to Bethel.

and Elijah said to Elisha,“ Stay here; the LORD is sending me on to Bethel.” But Elisha replied,“ As the LORD lives and as you yourself live, I will not leave you.” So they went down to Bethel.

And Elijah said to Elisha,“ Stay here please, for the Lord has sent me as far as Bethel.” But Elisha said,“ As surely as the Lord lives and as you yourself live, I will not leave you.” So they went down to Bethel.

Then Elijah said to Elisha,“ Stay here, please, for the Lord has sent me on to Bethel.” But Elisha said,“ As the Lord lives, and as your soul lives, I will not leave you!” So they went down to Bethel.

And Elijah said unto Elisha, Tarry here, I pray thee; for Jehovah hath sent me as far as Beth- el. And Elisha said, As Jehovah liveth, and as thy soul liveth, I will not leave thee. So they went down to Beth- el.

and Elijah said to Elisha,“ Stay here; the Lord is sending me on to Bethel.” But Elisha replied,“ As the Lord lives and as you yourself live, I will not leave you.” So they went down to Bethel.

And Elijah said unto Elisha, Tarry here, I pray thee; for the LORD hath sent me to Bethel. And Elisha said[ unto him, As] the LORD liveth, and[ as] thy soul liveth, I will not leave thee. So they went down to Bethel.

Elijah told Elisha,“ Stay here, for the LORD has sent me to Bethel.” But Elisha said,“ As certainly as the LORD lives and as you live, I will not leave you.” So they went down to Bethel.

Elijah said to Elisha,“ Please wait here, for Yahweh has sent me as far as Bethel.” Elisha said,“ As Yahweh lives, and as your soul lives, I will not leave you.” So they went down to Bethel.

以利亞對以利沙說：「耶和華差遣我往約旦河去，你可以留在這裏。」以利沙說：「我指着永生的耶和華，又指着你的性命起誓，我必不離開你。」於是二人一同往前行。

孩子的母親說：「我指着永生的耶和華，又指着你的性命起誓，我必不離開你。」於是以利沙起身，隨着她去了。

婦人說：「我主啊，請容許我說，我向你，我的主起誓，從前在你這裏站着祈求耶和華的那婦人就是我。

以利亞對以利沙說：「耶和華差遣我往耶利哥去，你可以留在這裏。」以利沙說：「我指着永生的耶和華，又指着你的性命起誓，我必不離開你。」於是二人到了耶利哥。

現在，我主啊，耶和華既然阻止你親手報仇，避免流人的血，我指着永生的耶和華起誓，又指着你的性命起誓：『現在，願你的仇敵和謀害我主的人都像拿八一樣。』

憑誠實、公平、公義指着永生的耶和華起誓；列國就必因他蒙福，也必因他誇耀。」

他給那地方起名叫伯特利；那地方原先名叫路斯。

拿娥米說：「看哪，你嫂嫂已經回她的百姓和她的神明那裏去了，你也跟你嫂嫂回去吧！」路得說：「不要勸我離開你，轉去不跟隨你。你往哪裏去，我也往哪裏去；你在哪裏住，我也在哪裏住；你的百姓就是我的百姓；你的神就是我的神。你死在哪裏，我也死在哪裏，葬在哪裏。只有死能使你我分離；不然，願耶和華重重懲罰我！」拿娥米見路得決意要跟自己去，就不再對她說甚麼了。

他把一個安置在伯特利，另一個安置在但。

他在八月十五日，就是他自己心中所定的月份，在伯特利上到自己所造的祭壇；他為以色列人定了一個節期，親自上壇燒香。看哪，有一個神人遵照耶和華的話從猶大來到伯特利。耶羅波安正站在壇旁燒香；神人遵照耶和華的話向壇呼叫，說：「壇哪，壇哪！耶和華如此說：『看哪，大衛家必生一個兒子，名叫約西亞，他必將在你上面燒香的丘壇祭司，宰殺在你上面，人的骨頭也必燒在你上面。』」

王對迦特人以太說：「你是外邦人，從你本地逃來的，為甚麼與我們同去呢？你回去留在新王那裏吧！你昨天才到，我今日怎好叫你與我們一同流亡，而我卻要到處飄流呢？回去吧，你帶你的弟兄回去吧！願主用慈愛信實待你。」以太回答王說：「我指着永生的耶和華起誓，又敢在王面前起誓：無論生死，王在哪裏，你的僕人也必在哪裏。」

耶穌就對那十二使徒說：「你們也要離開嗎？」西門‧彼得回答他：「主啊，你有永生之道，我們還跟從誰呢？

掃羅看見大衛去迎戰非利士人，就問押尼珥元帥說：「押尼珥，那年輕人是誰的兒子？」押尼珥說：「王啊，我在你面前起誓，我不知道。」

他們從我們中間出去，卻不是屬我們的，若是屬我們的，就必仍舊與我們同在。他們出去，這就顯明他們都不是屬我們的。
