The woman said to her husband,“ That man often comes by here. I know that he is a holy man of God.

妇人对丈夫说：“看哪，我知道那常从我们这里经过的是神圣的神人。

那妇人对丈夫说：“我看常路过我们这里的这位是上帝圣洁的仆人。他常路过我们这里，

那妇人对她的丈夫说：“你看，我知道那常从我们这里经过的，是个圣洁的神人。

婦人對丈夫說：「我看出那常從我們這裏經過的是聖潔的神人。

婦人對丈夫說：「看哪，我知道那常從我們這裏經過的是神聖的神人。

婦人對丈夫說：「看哪，我知道那常從我們這裏經過的是神聖的神人。

那婦人對丈夫說：「我看常路過我們這裡的這位是上帝聖潔的僕人。他常路過我們這裡，

那婦人對她的丈夫說：“你看，我知道那常從我們這裡經過的，是個聖潔的神人。

婦人對她丈夫說：『看哪，常從我們這裏經過的那一位、我看出他是個聖潔的神人。

婦謂夫曰、我知屢經我所者、乃上帝聖僕也、

婦告其夫曰、斯人屢經我所、我知為上帝之聖僕也、

婦謂其夫曰、此人屢經我所、我知其為聖潔之神人、或作屢經我所之神人我知其乃聖人

She said to her husband,“ I know that this man who often comes our way is a holy man of God.

And she said to her husband,“ Behold now, I know that this is a holy man of God who is continually passing our way.

She said to her husband,“ I am sure this man who stops in from time to time is a holy man of God.

Then she said to her husband,“ I know that the one who often passes by here is a holy man of God,

And she said to her husband,“ Behold now, I am aware that this is a holy man of God passing by us repeatedly.

And she said to her husband,“ Look now, I know that this is a holy man of God, who passes by us regularly.

And she said unto her husband, Behold now, I perceive that this is a holy man of God, that passeth by us continually.

Then she said to her husband,“ I know that the one who often passes by here is a holy man of God,

And she said unto her husband, Behold now, I perceive that this[ is] an holy man of God, which passeth by us continually.

She said to her husband,“ Look, I’m sure that the man who regularly passes through here is a very special prophet.

She said to her husband,“ See now, I perceive that this is a holy man of God who passes by us continually.

Who can find an excellent woman? She is worth far more than rubies.Her husband trusts her completely. She gives him all the important things he needs.

Then the woman said to Elijah,“ Now I know that you are a man of God. I know that the message you have brought from the Lord is true.”

She went and told the man of God about it. He said,“ Go and sell the oil. Pay what you owe. You and your sons can live on what is left.”

The woman said to Elijah,“ You are a man of God. What do you have against me? Did you come to bring my sin out into the open? Did you come to kill my son?”

In the same way, let your light shine so others can see it. Then they will see the good things you do. And they will bring glory to your Father who is in heaven.

You are witnesses of how we lived among you believers. God is also a witness that we were holy and godly and without blame.

Instead, a church leader must welcome people into his home. He must love what is good. He must control his mind and feelings. He must do what is right. He must be holy. He must control the desires of his body.

Here is the blessing that Moses, the man of God, gave to the Israelites before he died.

Prophecy never came simply because a prophet wanted it to. Instead, the Holy Spirit guided the prophets as they spoke. So, although prophets are human, prophecy comes from God.

But you are a man of God. Run away from all these things. Try hard to do what is right and godly. Have faith, love and gentleness. Hold on to what you believe.

A man of God went from Judah to Bethel. He had received a message from the Lord. He arrived in Bethel just as Jeroboam was standing by the altar to offer a sacrifice.

Wives, follow the lead of your own husbands. Suppose some of them don’t believe God’s word. Then let them be won to Christ without words by seeing how their wives behave.

I want you to remember the words the holy prophets spoke in the past. Remember the command our Lord and Savior gave through your apostles.
