今何為試上帝、以列祖及我儕不克負之軛、置門徒頸乎、

今何為試上帝、以祖宗及我不能負之軛、置門徒頸乎、

今何為試天主、以我列祖及我儕所不能負之軛、置於門徒頸乎、

今爾何為拂逆天主、而欲以吾列祖及吾儕所不堪負荷之軛、加諸信徒之項乎？

Now then, why do you try to test God by putting on the necks of Gentiles a yoke that neither we nor our ancestors have been able to bear?

Now then, why are you trying to test God? You test him when you put a heavy load on the shoulders of Gentiles. Our people of long ago couldn’t carry that load. We can’t either.

Now, therefore, why are you putting God to the test by placing a yoke on the neck of the disciples that neither our fathers nor we have been able to bear?

So why are you now challenging God by burdening the Gentile believers with a yoke that neither we nor our ancestors were able to bear?

Now then, why are you testing God by putting a yoke on the disciples’ necks that neither our ancestors nor we have been able to bear?

Since this is the case, why are you putting God to the test by placing upon the neck of the disciples a yoke which neither our forefathers nor we have been able to bear?

他們把難挑的重擔捆起來，擱在人的肩上，但自己一個指頭也不肯動。

基督釋放了我們，為使我們得自由。所以要站穩了，不要再被奴隸的軛挾制。

現在你們既然認識神，更可說是被神所認識的，怎麼還要轉回那懦弱無用的粗淺學說，情願再給它們作奴隸呢？

但亞哈斯說：「我不求；我不試探耶和華。」

耶穌對他說：「經上又記着：『不可試探主－你的神。』」

那第一層帳幕是現今時代的一個預表，表示所獻的禮物和祭物都不能使敬拜的人在良心上得以完全。

在那裏，你們的祖宗試探我，並且觀看我的作為，

百姓就與摩西爭鬧，說：「給我們水喝吧！」摩西對他們說：「你們為甚麼與我爭鬧呢？你們為甚麼試探耶和華呢？」

凡勞苦擔重擔的人都到我這裏來，我要使你們得安息。我心裏柔和謙卑，你們當負我的軛，向我學習；這樣，你們的心靈就必得安息。因為我的軛是容易的，我的擔子是輕省的。」

我說，雖然那承受產業的是整個產業的主人，但在未成年的時候卻與奴隸毫無分別，仍是在監護人和管家的手下，直等他父親預定的時候來到。我們也是一樣，在未成年的時候，被世上粗淺的學說所奴役，也是如此。等到時候成熟，神就差遣他的兒子，為女子所生，且生在律法之下，為要把律法之下的人贖出來，使我們獲得兒子的名分。
