眾引葆樂至亞略巴古書院、曰：『所講新道、可得聞乎？

Then they took him and brought him to a meeting of the Areopagus, where they said to him,“ May we know what this new teaching is that you are presenting?

結果大家都驚訝不已，彼此談論說：「這是怎麼回事？！一個帶有權柄的新的教導！他命令汙靈，汙靈就都聽從他！」

於是保羅站在亞略巴古當中說：「各位雅典人哪，我看你們在各方面都非常敬畏鬼神，

阿格里帕對保羅說：「你獲准為自己說話。」於是保羅伸手開始申辯：

為我的緣故，你們將被帶到總督和君王面前，好對他們和外邦人做見證。

阿格里帕對菲斯特斯說：「我本來也想親自聽這個人講說。」菲斯特斯說：「明天你就可以聽他講說。」

各位蒙愛的人哪，我寫給你們的不是一條新命令，而是你們從起初就有的舊命令；這條舊命令就是你們所聽過的那話。另一方面，我寫給你們的也是一條新命令；這命令在他、在你們，都是真實的，因為黑暗正在消逝，真光已經在照耀。

過了幾天，菲利克斯與他的猶太人妻子杜茜拉一起來了。他把保羅叫來，聽他講說對基督耶穌的信仰。

「我給你們一條新的命令：就是要你們彼此相愛，就如我愛你們，為要使你們也彼此相愛。

既然你帶來了一些奇怪的事，傳到我們耳中，那麼我們想知道這些事到底是什麼意思。」
