But he said,“ I am not mad, most noble Festus, but speak the words of truth and reason.

But Paul saith, I am not mad, most excellent Festus; but speak forth words of truth and soberness.

But Paul replied,“ I’m not out of my mind, most excellent Festus. On the contrary, I’m speaking words of truth and good judgment.

But he said, I am not mad, most noble Festus; but speak forth the words of truth and soberness.

But Paul replied,“ I have not lost my mind, most excellent Festus, but am speaking true and rational words.

But he said,“ I am not crazy, most excellent Festus, but boldly declare words of truth and reasonableness.

I, Claudius Lysias, am writing this letter. I am sending it to His Excellency, Governor Felix. Greetings.

Most excellent Felix, we gladly admit this everywhere and in every way. And we are very thankful.

The message as it has been taught can be trusted. He must hold firmly to it. Then he will be able to use true teaching to comfort others and build them up. He will be able to prove that people who oppose it are wrong.

You were chosen to do good even if you suffer. That’s because Christ suffered for you. He left you an example that he expects you to follow.Scripture says,“ He didn’t commit any sin. No lies ever came out of his mouth.”( Isaiah 53:9)People shouted at him and made fun of him. But he didn’t do the same thing back to them. When he suffered, he didn’t say he would make them suffer. Instead, he trusted in the God who judges fairly.
