The refining pot is for silver and the furnace for gold, But the Lord tests hearts.

But as for you, Daniel, keep these words secret and seal up the book until the end of time; many will roam about, and knowledge will increase.”

So the other disciples were saying to him,“ We have seen the Lord!” But he said to them,“ Unless I see in His hands the imprint of the nails, and put my finger into the place of the nails, and put my hand into His side, I will not believe.”

As for both kings, their hearts will be intent on evil, and they will speak lies to each other at the same table; but it will not succeed, because the end is still to come at the appointed time.

Now Peter was sitting outside in the courtyard, and a slave woman came to him and said,“ You too were with Jesus the Galilean.”But he denied it before them all, saying,“ I do not know what you are talking about.”When he had gone out to the gateway, another slave woman saw him and* said to those who were there,“ This man was with Jesus of Nazareth.”And again he denied it, with an oath:“ I do not know the man.”A little later the bystanders came up and said to Peter,“ You really are one of them as well, since even the way you talk gives you away.”Then he began to curse and swear,“ I do not know the man!” And immediately a rooster crowed.And Peter remembered the statement that Jesus had made:“ Before a rooster crows, you will deny Me three times.” And he went out and wept bitterly.

For the vision is yet for the appointed time; It hurries toward the goal and it will not fail. Though it delays, wait for it; For it will certainly come, it will not delay long.

But all this has taken place so that the Scriptures of the prophets will be fulfilled.” Then all the disciples left Him and fled.

Now Paul and his companions put out to sea from Paphos and came to Perga in Pamphylia; but John left them and returned to Jerusalem.

And he will confirm a covenant with the many for one week, but in the middle of the week he will put a stop to sacrifice and grain offering; and on the wing of abominations will come the one who makes desolate, until a complete destruction, one that is decreed, gushes forth on the one who makes desolate.”In the third year of Cyrus king of Persia, a message was revealed to Daniel, who was named Belteshazzar; and the message was true and it concerned great conflict, but he understood the message and had an understanding of the vision.

Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit, He takes away; and every branch that bears fruit, He prunes it so that it may bear more fruit.

“ At the appointed time he will return and come into the South, but this last time it will not turn out the way it did before.
