Now all these things are from God, who reconciled us to Himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation,namely, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not counting their wrongdoings against them, and He has committed to us the word of reconciliation.Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were making an appeal through us; we beg you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God.He made Him who knew no sin to be sin in our behalf, so that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.And working together with Him, we also urge you not to receive the grace of God in vain—

Why would you swallow up the inheritance of the Lord?”Joab replied,“ Far be it, far be it from me that I would consume or destroy!Such is not the case. But a man from the hill country of Ephraim, Sheba the son of Bichri by name, has raised his hand against King David. Only turn him over, and I will depart from the city.” And the woman said to Joab,“ Behold, his head will be thrown to you over the wall.”Then the woman wisely came to all the people. And they cut off the head of Sheba the son of Bichri and threw it to Joab. So he blew the trumpet, and they were dispersed from the city, each to his tent. Joab also returned to the king at Jerusalem.
