當日摩西作歌、教以色列人、耶和華諭嫩之子約書亞曰、強乃志、壯乃心、爾將導以色列人入我所誓賜之地、我必偕爾、○摩西以此律言、書之既畢、遂諭舁耶和華約匱之利未人曰、以此律書、置於爾上帝耶和華約匱之側、為證於爾、

斯災臨我、乃依摩西律中所載、而我猶不求恩於我上帝耶和華、棄離我之罪愆、洞悉爾之真道、

夫子、摩西書於我云、若人兄死、遺妻而無子、其弟當納其妻、生子以嗣之、

我僕摩西之法律、我在何烈所命、傳於以色列之典章律例、爾其憶之、

摩西遵耶和華命、以其所歷之程、筆之於書、

爾若信摩西、則必信我、因其所書者指我、

祭司之脣、宜存智識、人當求法律於其口、以其為萬軍耶和華之使也、

夫律由摩西而授、恩寵真理、則由耶穌基督而來、

腓力遇拿但業曰、摩西律及先知所載者、我儕已遇之、即約瑟之子、拿撒勒人耶穌也、

大衛曰、耶和華既簡利未人舁上帝匱、永久奉事之、他人不可舁也、

我民緣無知而見滅、爾棄知識、我亦棄爾、不容為我祭司、爾忘爾上帝法律、我亦忘爾子、

當使爾支派之長老有司咸集、我將以此言告之、呼籲天地、於彼為證、

曰摩西許書離書出之、耶穌曰、以爾心頑、故書斯命予爾、

諭之曰、爾曹為利未族長、當與昆弟自潔、致可舁以色列上帝耶和華之匱、至我所備之所、爾曹初未舁之、亦未循例尋求上帝、故我上帝耶和華擊我儕、祭司利未人遂自潔、欲舁以色列上帝耶和華之匱而上、利未子孫、以杠肩舁上帝匱、循摩西遵耶和華言所命、
