Levi didn’t show special favor to anyone. He did not spare his father and mother. He didn’t excuse his relatives or his children. But he watched over your word. He guarded your covenant.

The Levites obeyed your word and guarded your covenant. They were more loyal to you than to their own parents. They ignored their relatives and did not acknowledge their own children.

摩西见百姓放肆，因亚伦纵容他们，使这事成了敌人的笑柄，就站在营门前，说：“凡属耶和华的人，都到我这里来！”于是利未人都聚集到他那里。他对他们说：“耶和华—以色列的神这样说：‘你们各人把刀佩在腰间，从这门到那门，来回走遍全营，各人要杀自己的弟兄、邻舍和亲人。’”利未人遵照摩西的话做了。那一天百姓中倒下的约有三千人。摩西说：“今天你们要奉献自己来事奉耶和华，因为各人牺牲自己的儿子和弟兄，使耶和华今天赐福给你们。”

“无论什么人到我这里来，若不爱我胜过爱自己的父母、妻子、儿女、兄弟、姊妹，甚至自己的性命，就不能作我的门徒。

他却回答那对他说话的人，说：“谁是我的母亲？谁是我的兄弟？”

所以，从今以后，我们不再按照人的看法来认识人，纵使我们曾经按照人的看法认识基督，如今却不再这样认识他了。

爱父母胜过爱我的，不配作我的门徒；爱儿女胜过爱我的，不配作我的门徒。

我现在是要得人的心，还是要得神的心呢？难道我在讨人的喜欢吗？我若仍旧想讨人的喜欢，我就不是基督的仆人了。

不可挨近任何死尸，即使为了父母也不可玷污自己。

利亚怀孕生子，给他起名叫吕便，因为她说：“耶和华看见我的苦情，如今我的丈夫必爱我。”

他们说：“来吧！让我们设计谋害耶利米；因为我们有祭司讲律法，有智慧人设谋略，有先知说预言，都未曾断绝。来吧！让我们用舌头攻击他，不要理他一切的话。”

但神既然认定我们经得起考验，把福音托付我们，我们就照着传讲，不是要讨人喜欢，而是要讨那考验我们的心的神喜欢。

摩西对亚伦和他儿子以利亚撒和以他玛说：“不可蓬头散发，也不可撕裂衣服，免得你们死亡，免得耶和华向全会众发怒。但你们的弟兄以色列全家却要为耶和华发出的火哀哭。

所以，世人敬畏他；凡自以为有智慧的，他都不看顾。”

我在神、基督耶稣和蒙拣选的天使面前嘱咐你要遵守这些话，不可存成见，做事也不可偏心。
