守之行之、是為爾之智慧通達、在列邦民前、彼聞此典章、必曰、此大國、乃智慧通達之民也、

爾守此法、則可為智、四方之民聞此禮儀、必曰斯民昌大、智慧俱備、

當謹守遵行、此即爾之智慧明哲在列邦眾民前、彼聞此律例、必曰、斯民昌大、智慧明哲俱備、

Observe them carefully, for this will show your wisdom and understanding to the nations, who will hear about all these decrees and say,“ Surely this great nation is a wise and understanding people.”

Be careful to keep them. That will show the nations how wise and understanding you are. They will hear about all these rules. They’ll say,“ That great nation certainly has wise and understanding people.”

Keep them and do them, for that will be your wisdom and your understanding in the sight of the peoples, who, when they hear all these statutes, will say,‘ Surely this great nation is a wise and understanding people.’

Obey them completely, and you will display your wisdom and intelligence among the surrounding nations. When they hear all these decrees, they will exclaim,‘ How wise and prudent are the people of this great nation!’

Carefully follow them, for this will show your wisdom and understanding in the eyes of the peoples. When they hear about all these statutes, they will say,‘ This great nation is indeed a wise and understanding people.’

So keep and do them, for that is your wisdom and your understanding in the sight of the peoples who will hear all these statutes and say,‘ Surely this great nation is a wise and understanding people.’

Therefore be careful to observe them; for this is your wisdom and your understanding in the sight of the peoples who will hear all these statutes, and say,‘ surely this great nation is a wise and understanding people.’

敬畏永恆主是智慧的總綱；凡實行的人便是見識好的。永恆主可頌可讚的事存立到永遠。

他對人說：「敬畏主、乃是智慧，遠離壞事便是明達。」』

也知道你從幼年時就明白了聖典，就是能使你憑着信仰基督耶穌而有智慧、以至於得救的。

敬畏永恆主是知識的總綱；智慧和管教、愚妄人卻藐視。

萬族之民中、地上列王中、凡聽到所羅門智慧之事的、都有人來聽所羅門的智慧話。

你們中間誰是有智慧有特長的呢？他應當以智慧之柔和、由好的為人指顯出他的行為來。

永恆主的律法完全，能使人精神甦醒；永恆主的法度確定，能使愚直人有智慧。

我今日呼天喚地來警告你們，我將活與死、祝福與咒詛、都擺在你面前；你務要揀選「活」，使你和你後裔得以活着，而愛永恆主你的上帝，聽他的聲音，緊依附着他，因為那就是你的「活」，你的長壽；這樣你就可以在永恆主向你列祖亞伯拉罕、以撒、雅各起誓應許給他們的土地長久居住。』

她便對王說：『我在我本地所聽見關於你的事和你的智慧的傳說都是真的。我先前不信那些傳說；及至我來、親眼看見，才看出人所告訴我的還不到一半：你實在有智慧和福分超過我所聽見的傳聞哪。你的妻妾有福啊！你這些臣僕有福啊，這些不斷侍立你面前、聽你智慧話的！永恆主你的上帝是當受祝頌的；他喜愛了你，使你在以色列的王位上；因為永恆主永遠喜愛以色列，所以他才立了你做王、來秉公行義。』

萬軍之永恆主說：萬國必稱你們為有福；因為你們必成為可喜愛之地。』

精明人的智慧在乎明白自己的道路；愚頑人的愚妄卻有欺詐性。

智慧人必狼狽，必驚慌，必被捉住；看哪，永恆主的話他們竟棄絕了，他們心裏還有甚麼智慧呢？

『萬軍之永恆主這麼說：將來必有萬族之民和多城的居民還要來到；這一城的居民必去見另一城的居民說：「我們總要趕快去求永恆主的情面，去尋求萬軍之永恆主哦！讓我去吧！也讓我吧！」必有許多外族之民和強盛之國要前來，在耶路撒冷尋求萬軍之永恆主，求永恆主的情面。萬軍之永恆主這麼說：當那些日子列國說各樣語言的人之中十個人必拉住一個猶大人的衣邊、說：「讓我們和你們一同去吧！因為我們聽說上帝與你們同在。」』

在你國中有一個人，他裏頭有聖神明之靈。你父在世的日子，發現這人心中有亮光、有通達，有智慧，好像神明的智慧；你父尼布甲尼撒王曾經立了他為術士及用法術的、跟迦勒底博學的人和占卜者、的領袖；都因為在他裏頭、在但以理心裏、有非常高超之靈，有知識，有通達，能講明夢的解析，能釋謎語，能解難題的結——這但以理、王又給他起名叫伯提沙撒：現在可以把但以理召來；他一定能把解析講明白。』於是但以理就被領進到王面前。王應時問但以理說：『你就是但以理麼，就是在猶大被擄的人之中、我王我父從猶大擄來的那位麼？我聽到你的事了，聽說你有聖神之靈，說你裏面有亮光，有通達，有非常高超的智慧。現在博士跟用法術的都被領到我面前，為要叫他們讀這文字，把它的解析告訴我，無奈他們都不能把這話的解析講出來。但是我聽到了你的事了，聽說你善於解析，能解難題的結。現在你若能讀這文字，把解析告訴我，就可以穿上紫紅色袍，脖子上戴金鍊，在國中掌權、居第三位。』

王無論諮詢他們甚麼智慧聰明的事、都看出他們比全國所有的學術士和用法術的還勝過十倍。

你的誡命使我比仇敵有智慧，因為它時時在我心裏。我比我所有的教師都通達；因為你的法度是我所默想的。我比老年人明理，因為你的訓令我恪守着。

『學術士的領袖伯提沙撒啊，因為我知道你裏頭有聖神明之靈，甚麼機密的事都不能使你為難；看哪，這時我夢中所見的異象；你要把它的解析說出來。
