今則宗基督耶穌、爾曩遠離之者、覺賴其血而得近矣、

今因基督耶穌、爾素為遠者、賴基督之血得近矣、

今則不然、爾托耶穌基督之恩、藉其聖血、已得化疏為親矣。

But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far away have been brought near by the blood of Christ.

At one time you were far away from God. But now you belong to Christ Jesus. He spilled his blood for you. This has brought you near to God.

But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ.

But now you have been united with Christ Jesus. Once you were far away from God, but now you have been brought near to him through the blood of Christ.

But now in Christ Jesus, you who were far away have been brought near by the blood of Christ.

But now in Christ Jesus you who previously were far away have been brought near by the blood of Christ.

But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ.

But now in Christ Jesus ye that once were far off are made nigh in the blood of Christ.

For the promise is to you, and to your children, and to all who are far off, even as many as the Lord our God will call to himself.”

and through him to reconcile all things to himself by him, whether things on the earth or things in the heavens, having made peace through the blood of his cross.You, being in past times alienated and enemies in your mind in your evil deeds,yet now he has reconciled in the body of his flesh through death, to present you holy and without defect and blameless before him,

I create the fruit of the lips: Peace, peace, to him who is far off and to him who is near,” says Yahweh;“ and I will heal them.”

to open their eyes, that they may turn from darkness to light and from the power of Satan to God, that they may receive remission of sins and an inheritance among those who are sanctified by faith in me.’

So then you are no longer strangers and foreigners, but you are fellow citizens with the saints and of the household of God,being built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Christ Jesus himself being the chief cornerstone;in whom the whole building, fitted together, grows into a holy temple in the Lord;in whom you also are built together for a habitation of God in the Spirit.

who delivered us out of the power of darkness, and translated us into the Kingdom of the Son of his love,in whom we have our redemption, the forgiveness of our sins.

I will tell the north,‘ Give them up!’ and tell the south,‘ Don’t hold them back! Bring my sons from far away, and my daughters from the ends of the earth—

for all have sinned, and fall short of the glory of God;being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus;whom God sent to be an atoning sacrifice, through faith in his blood, for a demonstration of his righteousness through the passing over of prior sins, in God’s forbearance;to demonstrate his righteousness at this present time; that he might himself be just, and the justifier of him who has faith in Jesus.Where then is the boasting? and might reconcile them both in one body to God through the cross, having killed the hostility through it.He came and preached peace to you who were far off and to those who were near.

which in other generations was not made known to the children of men, as it has now been revealed to his holy apostles and prophets in the Spirit,that the Gentiles are fellow heirs and fellow members of the body, and fellow partakers of his promise in Christ Jesus through the Good News,of which I was made a servant according to the gift of that grace of God which was given me according to the working of his power.To me, the very least of all saints, was this grace given, to preach to the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ,

They sang a new song, saying,“ You are worthy to take the book and to open its seals: for you were killed, and bought us for God with your blood out of every tribe, language, people, and nation,

that you were at that time separate from Christ, alienated from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of the promise, having no hope and without God in the world.

Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we will be saved from God’s wrath through him.For if while we were enemies, we were reconciled to God through the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we will be saved by his life.

Yahweh, my strength, and my stronghold, and my refuge in the day of affliction, the nations will come to you from the ends of the earth, and will say,“ Our fathers have inherited nothing but lies, vanity and things in which there is no profit.

Now I say that Christ has been made a servant of the circumcision for the truth of God, that he might confirm the promises given to the fathers,and that the Gentiles might glorify God for his mercy. As it is written,“ Therefore I will give praise to you among the Gentiles and sing to your name.”Again he says,“ Rejoice, you Gentiles, with his people.”Again,“ Praise the Lord, all you Gentiles! Let all the peoples praise him.”Again, Isaiah says,“ There will be the root of Jesse, he who arises to rule over the Gentiles; in him the Gentiles will hope.”

There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free man, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus.

For, behold, those who are far from you shall perish. You have destroyed all those who are unfaithful to you.

Surely the islands will wait for me, and the ships of Tarshish first, to bring your sons from far, their silver and their gold with them, for the name of Yahweh your God, and for the Holy One of Israel, because he has glorified you.

Therefore glorify Yahweh in the east, even the name of Yahweh, the God of Israel, in the islands of the sea!From the uttermost part of the earth have we heard songs. Glory to the righteous! It will happen in that day that the nations will seek the root of Jesse, who stands as a banner of the peoples; and his resting place will be glorious.

Behold, these shall come from afar, and behold, these from the north and from the west; and these from the land of Sinim.”

Because of him, you are in Christ Jesus, who was made to us wisdom from God, and righteousness and sanctification, and redemption:

Therefore even the first covenant has not been dedicated without blood.

“ I will set a sign among them, and I will send those who escape of them to the nations, to Tarshish, Pul, and Lud, who draw the bow, to Tubal and Javan, to far- away islands, who have not heard my fame, nor have seen my glory; and they shall declare my glory among the nations.

“ He said to me,‘ Depart, for I will send you out far from here to the Gentiles.’”

There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who don’t walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit.

knowing that you were redeemed, not with corruptible things, with silver or gold, from the useless way of life handed down from your fathers,but with precious blood, as of a lamb without blemish or spot, the blood of Christ,
