耶和華對摩西說：「我要抹去世人對亞瑪力人的記憶。你要把這話記在書卷上作紀念，也要把這話告訴約書亞。」

耶和华对摩西说：“我要将亚玛力的名号从天下全然涂抹了；你要将这话写在书上作纪念，又念给约书亚听。”

永恆主對摩西說：『我要將亞瑪力這名號從天下全塗抹掉：你要將這話寫在卷冊上做備忘錄，又念給約書亞聽。』

耶和華諭摩西曰、我將塗亞瑪力之誌於天下、當筆之於簡、誦之於約書亞耳、

耶和華諭摩西曰、我將滅亞馬力族於天下、當載於簡、口誦之、俾約書亞聽聞。

主諭摩西曰、我必從天下除滅亞瑪力人之名、爾當筆之於書以為誌、口誦使約書亞聞之、

Then the Lord said to Moses,“ Write this on a scroll as something to be remembered and make sure that Joshua hears it, because I will completely blot out the name of Amalek from under heaven.”

Then the Lord said to Moses,“ This is something to be remembered. So write it on a scroll. Make sure Joshua knows you have done it. I will completely erase the memory of the Amalekites from the earth.”

Then the Lord said to Moses,“ Write this as a memorial in a book and recite it in the ears of Joshua, that I will utterly blot out the memory of Amalek from under heaven.”

After the victory, the Lord instructed Moses,“ Write this down on a scroll as a permanent reminder, and read it aloud to Joshua: I will erase the memory of Amalek from under heaven.”

The LORD then said to Moses,“ Write this down on a scroll as a reminder and recite it to Joshua: I will completely blot out the memory of Amalek under heaven.”

Then the Lord said to Moses,“ Write this in a book as a memorial and recite it to Joshua, that I will utterly wipe out the memory of Amalek from under heaven.”

Then the Lord said to Moses,“ Write this for a memorial in the book and recount it in the hearing of Joshua, that I will utterly blot out the remembrance of Amalek from under heaven.”

And Jehovah said unto Moses, Write this for a memorial in a book, and rehearse it in the ears of Joshua: that I will utterly blot out the remembrance of Amalek from under heaven.

The Lord then said to Moses,“ Write this down on a scroll as a reminder and recite it to Joshua: I will completely blot out the memory of Amalek under heaven.”

And the LORD said unto Moses, Write this[ for] a memorial in a book, and rehearse[ it] in the ears of Joshua: for I will utterly put out the remembrance of Amalek from under heaven.

The LORD said to Moses,“ Write this as a memorial in the book, and rehearse it in Joshua’s hearing; for I will surely wipe out the remembrance of Amalek from under heaven.

Yahweh said to Moses,“ Write this for a memorial in a book, and rehearse it in the ears of Joshua: that I will utterly blot out the memory of Amalek from under the sky.”

大衛率領部下從黎明攻打他們，直到次日黃昏。除了四百個青年騎駱駝逃脫外，亞瑪力人全軍覆沒。

耶和華又對摩西說：「你要把我說的這些話記錄下來，因為我要按這些話跟你和以色列人立約。」

過了兩天，大衛率領部下回到洗革拉的時候，發現亞瑪力人襲擊了南地和洗革拉，攻破了洗革拉城，把全城燒毀，

巴蘭觀看亞瑪力人，並以詩歌預言說：「亞瑪力原是列國之首，但他的結局卻是滅亡。」

你們要記住這一天，守為耶和華的節期，作為世世代代永遠的定例。

這節期就好像在你們手上或額上作的記號，叫你們記得耶和華的律法，祂曾經用大能的手把你們帶出埃及。

「你去告訴撒拉鐵的兒子猶大省長所羅巴伯、約撒答的兒子大祭司約書亞和所有的餘民，『你們當中有誰見過這殿昔日的榮耀呢？現在你們看這殿如何？看上去豈不是一文不值嗎？

掃羅攻打亞瑪力人，從哈腓拉直打到埃及東面的書珥，生擒了亞瑪力王亞甲，殺盡了亞瑪力人。

摩西遵照耶和華的吩咐記錄啟行的地點，以下是他們停留過的地方。

你們就告訴他們，『約旦河水在耶和華的約櫃前曾經被截斷，當約櫃過河的時候，河水被截斷了。這些石頭要在以色列人當中作為永久的紀念。』」

義人流芳於世，惡人名聲朽爛。

祂差遣你去攻打那些罪惡的亞瑪力人，命你把他們全部消滅。

摩西把耶和華的這些話記錄下來。第二天清晨，摩西在山腳築了一座壇，立了十二根柱子代表以色列的十二支派。

摩西把這律法寫好，交給抬耶和華約櫃的利未祭司和以色列的眾長老。

我們豈能再違背你的誡命，與這些行為可憎的人通婚？若我們這樣行，你豈不發怒毀滅我們，使我們無一倖免嗎？

仇敵永遠滅亡了，你把他們的城池連根拔起，無人再記得他們。

他從世上銷聲匿跡，無人記得他的名字。

大衛戰勝了亞瑪力人之後便回到洗革拉，在那裡住了兩天。那時掃羅已經死了。

剷除了殘餘的亞瑪力人，從此定居在那裡，直到今日。

但願把我的話寫下來，記錄在書卷上，

他問我是什麼人。我告訴他我是亞瑪力人。掃羅說他痛苦難當，卻又死不掉，要我殺了他。我知道他身受重傷，必死無疑，就把他殺了，並取下他頭上的王冠和臂上的鐲子帶來獻給我主。」大衛就撕裂衣服，他的隨從也撕裂衣服。他們因掃羅、他的兒子約拿單和耶和華的子民——以色列同胞陣亡而悲哀痛哭，禁食直到黃昏。大衛又問報信的青年：「你是哪裡的人？」他答道：「我是寄居在以色列的亞瑪力人。」大衛說：「你怎麼敢下手殺耶和華所膏立的王？你是咎由自取！因為你親口承認自己殺了耶和華所膏立的王。」大衛隨即命令一個年輕的隨從殺死他，隨從便殺死了他。

他率領部下襲擊基述人、基色人和亞瑪力人，這些人自古以來就住在遠至書珥和埃及一帶的地方。大衛攻打那一帶，殺死所有的人，搶走牛、羊、驢、駱駝和衣物，回去見亞吉。

萬軍之耶和華說，『我要懲罰亞瑪力人，因為在以色列人離開埃及的時候，他們與以色列人為敵。你現在要去攻打他們，徹底消滅他們和他們擁有的一切，把男女老幼、牛羊駱駝和驢全部殺掉，一個不留。』」

「你們要記住，你們從埃及出來的路上，亞瑪力人是怎樣對待你們的。他們趁你們疲憊不堪時，襲擊你們當中掉隊的人，毫不敬畏上帝。所以，當你們的上帝耶和華賜給你們那片土地作產業、使你們四境安寧時，要滅絕亞瑪力人，抹去世人對他們的記憶。你們要切記！
