耶和华对摩西说：“我要将亚玛力的名号从天下全然涂抹了；你要将这话写在书上作纪念，又念给约书亚听。”

永恆主對摩西說：『我要將亞瑪力這名號從天下全塗抹掉：你要將這話寫在卷冊上做備忘錄，又念給約書亞聽。』

耶和華諭摩西曰、我將塗亞瑪力之誌於天下、當筆之於簡、誦之於約書亞耳、

耶和華諭摩西曰、我將滅亞馬力族於天下、當載於簡、口誦之、俾約書亞聽聞。

主諭摩西曰、我必從天下除滅亞瑪力人之名、爾當筆之於書以為誌、口誦使約書亞聞之、

Then the Lord said to Moses,“ Write this on a scroll as something to be remembered and make sure that Joshua hears it, because I will completely blot out the name of Amalek from under heaven.”

Then the Lord said to Moses,“ This is something to be remembered. So write it on a scroll. Make sure Joshua knows you have done it. I will completely erase the memory of the Amalekites from the earth.”

Then the Lord said to Moses,“ Write this as a memorial in a book and recite it in the ears of Joshua, that I will utterly blot out the memory of Amalek from under heaven.”

After the victory, the Lord instructed Moses,“ Write this down on a scroll as a permanent reminder, and read it aloud to Joshua: I will erase the memory of Amalek from under heaven.”

The LORD then said to Moses,“ Write this down on a scroll as a reminder and recite it to Joshua: I will completely blot out the memory of Amalek under heaven.”

Then the Lord said to Moses,“ Write this in a book as a memorial and recite it to Joshua, that I will utterly wipe out the memory of Amalek from under heaven.”

Then the Lord said to Moses,“ Write this for a memorial in the book and recount it in the hearing of Joshua, that I will utterly blot out the remembrance of Amalek from under heaven.”

And Jehovah said unto Moses, Write this for a memorial in a book, and rehearse it in the ears of Joshua: that I will utterly blot out the remembrance of Amalek from under heaven.

The Lord then said to Moses,“ Write this down on a scroll as a reminder and recite it to Joshua: I will completely blot out the memory of Amalek under heaven.”

And the LORD said unto Moses, Write this[ for] a memorial in a book, and rehearse[ it] in the ears of Joshua: for I will utterly put out the remembrance of Amalek from under heaven.

The LORD said to Moses,“ Write this as a memorial in the book, and rehearse it in Joshua’s hearing; for I will surely wipe out the remembrance of Amalek from under heaven.

Yahweh said to Moses,“ Write this for a memorial in a book, and rehearse it in the ears of Joshua: that I will utterly blot out the memory of Amalek from under the sky.”

大衛擊殺他們，從黃昏直到第二天傍晚；他們當中除了四百個騎駱駝的年輕人逃跑了以外，再沒有一個人逃脫。

第三天，大衛和他的部下回到洗革拉的時候，亞瑪力人已經侵襲了南地和洗革拉。亞瑪力人攻入洗革拉，用火燒毀了城，

這些金銀是從以東人、摩押人、亞捫人、非利士人、亞瑪力人，以及利合的兒子瑣巴王哈大底謝那裡得來的戰利品。

掃羅擊殺亞瑪力人，從哈腓拉直到埃及東邊的書珥，活捉了亞瑪力王亞甲，把他的眾民都用刀劍滅絕淨盡。

記念義人帶來祝福，惡人的名卻必朽爛。

耶和華派給你使命，說：『你去，把那些罪人——亞瑪力人滅絕淨盡。你要與他們爭戰，直到滅絕他們。』

仇敵被滅盡，敵國成為永久的廢墟；你把他們的城市拔出，連他們的名號也消亡了。

掃羅死了，大衛也已經擊殺亞瑪力人回來，在洗革拉住了兩天。

他問我：『你是誰？』我回答他：『我是亞瑪力人。』他就對我說：『請到我身邊來，把我殺了，死亡的痛苦抓住我，但我性命還在。』我就到他身邊，把他殺了，因為我知道他倒下後必不能活了。這樣我取下他頭上的冠冕和胳膊上的臂環，帶到我主這裡來。」大衛就抓著自己的衣服，把衣服撕裂，所有與他在一起的人也都這樣。他們為掃羅和他兒子約拿單、為耶和華的子民和以色列家哀慟、哭泣、禁食，直到傍晚，因為他們倒在刀劍之下。大衛問那報信的年輕人：「你是哪裡的人？」他回答：「我是一個寄居者的兒子，是亞瑪力人。」大衛對他說：「你伸手殺害耶和華的受膏者，怎麼沒有畏懼呢？」於是大衛叫來一個僕人，說：「你過去殺了他！」那僕人擊殺他，他就死了。大衛對他說：「你的血歸到你自己頭上！因為你親口指證自己，說：『我殺了耶和華的受膏者。』」

大衛帶著他的部下，上去侵襲了基述人、基色人和亞瑪力人，這些人自古以來就是那地的居民，那地往書珥延伸，直到埃及地。大衛攻擊那地，無論男女都不讓一人存活，並擄掠牛、羊、驢、駱駝和衣物，然後回去見亞吉。

萬軍之耶和華如此說：『我要清算亞瑪力人對以色列人所做的事，就是當以色列人從埃及上來時，亞瑪力人在路上攻擊他們。現在你要去攻打亞瑪力人，把他們所有的一切都滅絕淨盡，不可憐恤他們；無論是男女、幼童、嬰兒，還是牛羊、駱駝、驢子，都要殺滅。』」
