以約書誦與民聽、民曰、凡主所命之言、我必聽從遵行、

宣讀約書、俾民聽聞、僉曰、耶和華所言、我悉遵行、

以盟約之詞、誦於民聽。僉曰、耶和華所諭、我必遵行。

Then he took the Book of the Covenant and read it to the people. They responded,“ We will do everything the Lord has said; we will obey.”

Then he took the Book of the Covenant and read it to the people. They answered,“ We will do everything the Lord has told us to do. We will obey him.”

Then he took the Book of the Covenant and read it in the hearing of the people. And they said,“ All that the Lord has spoken we will do, and we will be obedient.”

He then took the covenant scroll and read it aloud to the people. They responded,“ We will do and obey all that the LORD has commanded.”

Then he took the Book of the Covenant and read it as the people listened; and they said,“ All that the Lord has spoken we will do, and we will be obedient!”

Then he took the Book of the Covenant and read in the hearing of the people. And they said,“ All that the Lord has said we will do, and be obedient.”

And he took the book of the covenant, and read in the audience of the people: and they said, All that Jehovah hath spoken will we do, and be obedient.

He then took the covenant scroll and read it aloud to the people. They responded,“ We will do and obey everything that the Lord has commanded.”

And he took the book of the covenant, and read in the audience of the people: and they said, All that the LORD hath said will we do, and be obedient.

He took the Book of the Covenant and read it aloud to the people, and they said,“ We are willing to do and obey all that the LORD has spoken.”

He took the book of the covenant and read it in the hearing of the people, and they said,“ We will do all that Yahweh has said, and be obedient.”

摩西下、以主之諸言諸例告於民、民同聲應曰、凡主所諭之言、我必遵行、摩西錄主之一切言、夙興、建祭臺於山下、立十二柱、循以色列十二支派、

以色列眾咸至、覲主爾之天主在其所選之處、當誦此律法在以色列眾前、使其聞之、當集眾民、男女幼子、及寄居爾邑之外邦客旅、使彼聽而學之、如此、則能敬畏主爾之天主、謹守遵行此律法之諸言、亦使其子女、尚無所識者聽之、即學終身敬畏主爾之天主、在爾渡約但將得之地、○

故前約亦非不以血而立者、當日摩西遵律法傳諸誡於民、乃取牛羊之血和水、以絳線與牛膝草、灑於其書及民眾、曰、天主與爾立約、以此血為據、原文作此乃天主所命爾之約之血又以血灑於幕、及祭祀諸器、遵律法、諸物皆以血而潔、若不流血、則無赦免、按天上物式而造者、當用如此之祭祀以潔之、則天上本物、當用較此更美之祭祀以潔之、

惟命之以此、曰、爾其聽我言、我必為爾之天主、爾將為我之民、遵行我所命爾之道、必可蒙福、惟彼不從、不傾耳以聽、竟隨己謀、放縱惡念、剛愎自用、以背向我、不以面向我、

我因主命爾、當讀此書與諸聖兄弟聞之、

讀律法及先知書畢、司會堂者、使人問曰、兄弟、若有勸民之語、請言之、

爾既讀此書、即付之於老底嘉教會、使彼眾亦讀之、爾亦當讀所寄老底嘉之書、
