“ Build an altar of acacia wood, three cubits high; it is to be square, five cubits long and five cubits wide.

“ Build an altar out of acacia wood. It must be four feet six inches high and seven feet six inches square.

“ You shall make the altar of acacia wood, five cubits long and five cubits broad. The altar shall be square, and its height shall be three cubits.

“ Using acacia wood, construct a square altar 7 1/2 feet wide, 7 1/2 feet long, and 4 1/2 feet high.

他用皂莢木作一座燔祭壇、是四方的：長五肘、寬五肘、高三肘。他在祭壇的四拐角上作四個角；角和祭壇接連一塊，又用銅把祭壇包上。他作了祭壇上的一切器具：就是盆、鏟子、碗、鍤子、火鼎：祭壇上一切的器具他都用銅去作。他給祭壇作格子、就是銅網細工，安在壇的圍腰板以下，從下頭到祭壇的半截。他鑄造四個環在銅格子四角上、做穿杠的所在。他用皂莢木作杠，用銅包上。他把杠穿在環子裏面、在祭壇兩邊，用來抬壇；他作祭壇是用木板作空的。

他又造了一座銅祭壇，長二十肘，寬二十肘，高十肘。

那一天迦得來見大衛，對他說：『你上去，在耶布斯人亞勞拿的禾場上為永恆主立座祭壇。』

我們有一個祭壇，壇上的祭物、在帳幕中行事奉禮的人都沒有權利喫。

你要膏燔祭壇和它一切的器具，將祭壇分別為聖，祭壇就成為至聖。

以下這些尺寸是祭壇的量度，按常肘每肘加一手掌；座底一肘，邊寬一肘，四圍有邊緣一虎口。以下是祭壇的高度：從貼地上的座底到下層磴臺、高二肘，邊寬一肘；從小磴臺到大磴臺、高四肘，邊寬一肘。壇供臺高四肘；從供臺向上突起的有四個角、高一肘。供臺長十二肘，寬十二肘；四面見方。磴臺長十四肘，寬十四肘：四面見方；其四圍起邊半肘；座底四圍的邊一肘。其臺階朝東。』

摩西將永恆主的一切話都寫上，清早起來，在山下築了一座祭壇，按以色列的十二族派立十二根聖柱。

他把燔祭壇安設在會棚之帳幕的出入處，將燔祭和素祭獻在壇上：照永恆主所吩咐摩西的。

你只要給我造土壇，在上面祭獻你的燔祭和平安祭、你的羊和牛；凡我使人記念我名的各地方，我都要到你那裏賜福與你。你若給我造石壇，不可用鑿成過的來建築，因為你在那上頭一動刀斧，就使壇變成凡俗了。你上我的壇、不可用臺階，免得在那上頭露現你的下體。」
