“ Command the Israelites to bring you clear oil of pressed olives for the light so that the lamps may be kept burning.

“ Command the Israelites to bring you clear oil made from pressed olives. Use it to keep the lamps burning and giving light.

“ You shall command the people of Israel that they bring to you pure beaten olive oil for the light, that a lamp may regularly be set up to burn.

“ You are to command the Israelites to bring you pure oil from crushed olives for the light, in order to keep the lamp burning regularly.

“ And you shall command the children of Israel that they bring you pure oil of pressed olives for the light, to cause the lamp to burn continually.

纯金的灯台、摆列的灯、灯台的一切器具、点灯的油，

橄榄树对它们说：‘我岂可停止生产使神明和人得尊荣的油，而行走飘摇在众树之上呢？’

在我敌人面前，你为我摆设筵席；你用油膏了我的头，使我的福杯满溢。

“你要造一座用纯金锤出的灯台。灯台的座、干、杯、花萼和花瓣，都要和灯台接连一块。灯台两旁要伸出六根枝子：这边三根，那边三根。这边枝子上有三个杯，形状像杏花，有花萼有花瓣；那边枝子上也有三个杯，形状像杏花，有花萼有花瓣。从灯台伸出来的六根枝子都是如此。灯台本身要有四个杯，形状像杏花，有花萼有花瓣。灯台的第一对枝子下面有花萼，灯台的第二对枝子下面有花萼，灯台的第三对枝子下面也有花萼；灯台伸出的六根枝子都是如此。花萼和枝子都要和灯台接连一块，全是从一块纯金锤出来的。要做灯台的七盏灯，灯要点燃，照亮前面。

我问天使说：“那么在灯台左右的这两棵橄榄树是什么意思呢？”我再次问他：“这两根橄榄树枝在两根流出金色油的金嘴旁边，是什么意思呢？”他对我说：“你不知道这是什么意思吗？”我说：“主啊，我不知道。”他说：“这是两位受膏者，侍立在全地之主的旁边。”

耶和华吩咐摩西说：“你要吩咐以色列人，把那捣成的纯橄榄油拿来给你，用以点灯，使灯经常点着。在会幕中法柜前的幔子外，亚伦从晚上到早晨要在耶和华面前照管这灯。这要成为你们世世代代永远的定例。他要在耶和华面前经常照管纯金灯台上的灯。”

他们就是那站在世界之主面前的两棵橄榄树和两个灯台。
