但我同你說話的時候，我必開你的口，你就要對他們說：「主永恆主這麼說」；要聽的可以聽；不要聽的、任他不聽；因為他們總是叛逆之家呀。

保羅和巴拿巴卻放膽直說：『上帝之道先對你們講、是必須的，你們既把它推開，斷定自己為不配得永生的，那你就看吧，我們轉向外國人了。

我若沒有來對他們講話，他們就沒有罪；如今呢、他們的罪是無可推諉的了。

你們進那一家，要給那家請安；那家若是配得起，你們的平安就會臨到它；若不是配得起，你們的平安自必回歸於你們。凡不接待你們、不聽你們話的，你們離開那家或那城的時候，要把你們腳上的飛塵抖掉。我實在告訴你們，當審判的日子，所多瑪和蛾摩拉地方所受的，必比那城還容易受呢。

他們或者聽、或者不聽，你只管將我的話告訴他們；他們原是叛逆之家呀。

因為無論在那得救着的人中間、或是在那滅亡着的人中間、我們都是基督馨香之氣、獻與上帝：對後一種人呢、就做徹頭徹尾死之氣味，對前一種人呢、就做徹頭徹尾活之氣味。要作這些事、誰能夠呢？我們不像許多人為利而淆亂上帝之道；我們乃是出於純潔、乃是出於上帝、在基督裏當着上帝面前說話的。

就使有取了不信態度的，能怎麼樣呢？難道他們之不信能廢掉上帝之可信靠麼？

倘若你警告了惡人回轉離開他的行徑，他仍不回轉離開他的行徑，那麼這人就必死在他的罪孽中，而你呢、卻可以救你自己的性命。

你們無論進哪一城，人若不接待你們，你們就出來，到大街上說：「就是你們城裏的飛塵、粘着我們腳上的、我們也當着你們面前拂去啊。然而這一點你們該知道：上帝的國是臨近了。」我告訴你們，當那日子、所多瑪所受的、必比那城還容易受呢。』

他又對我說：『人子啊，我要對你說的我一切的話、你都要心裏領會，耳中細聽。你去找你本國流亡的子民，他們或者聽，或者不聽，你總要對他們講話，向他們說：「主永恆主這麼說。」』
