惟爾人子、雖居荊棘蒺藜與蠍之中、勿畏之、亦勿畏其言、彼雖悖逆之家、勿畏其言、勿懼其貌、

And you, son of man, do not be afraid of them or their words. Do not be afraid, though briers and thorns are all around you and you live among scorpions. Do not be afraid of what they say or be terrified by them, though they are a rebellious people.

“ Son of man, do not fear them or their words. Don’t be afraid even though their threats surround you like nettles and briers and stinging scorpions. Do not be dismayed by their dark scowls, even though they are rebels.

“ But you, son of man, do not be afraid of them and do not be afraid of their words, even though briers and thorns are beside you and you live among scorpions. Don’t be afraid of their words or discouraged by the look on their faces, for they are a rebellious house.

And as for you, son of man, you are not to fear them nor fear their words, though thistles and thorns are with you and you sit on scorpions; you are not to fear their words nor be dismayed at their presence, since they are a rebellious house.

“ And you, son of man, do not be afraid of them nor be afraid of their words, though briers and thorns are with you and you dwell among scorpions; do not be afraid of their words or dismayed by their looks, though they are a rebellious house.

And thou, son of man, be not afraid of them, neither be afraid of their words, though briers and thorns are with thee, and thou dost dwell among scorpions: be not afraid of their words, nor be dismayed at their looks, though they are a rebellious house.

“ But you, son of man, do not be afraid of them or their words, though briers and thorns are beside you and you live among scorpions. Don’t be afraid of their words or be discouraged by the look on their faces, for they are a rebellious house.

But you, son of man, do not fear them, and do not fear their words– even though briers and thorns surround you and you live among scorpions– do not fear their words and do not be terrified of the looks they give you, for they are a rebellious house!

你不要懼怕他們，因為是我與你同在，要援救你：這是永恆主發神諭說的。』

他們最好的也只像荊棘，最正直的也只像籬笆刺；他們的守望者所說的日子、他們被察罰之日、已經來到；其慌慌亂亂就在眼前了。

因此你，你務要束腰，站立起來，將我所吩咐你的一切話告訴他們；不要因他們而驚慌，免得我使你在他們面前膽怯。

注意吧，我已經給了你們權柄、可以踐踏蛇和蠍子，並勝過仇敵一切的能力；斷沒有甚麼能害你們。

『是我，我親自安慰你們的；你怎麼啦，你竟怕那會死的人，怕那生成如草的世人呀！

因着信、他離棄了埃及，不怕王的暴怒；因為他堅心持守，如同看見了人目所不能見的。

即使不然，你們如果為義而受苦、也是有福氣。不要怕他們，不要震盪不安；

因為上帝並不是賜給我們膽怯之靈、乃是賜能力愛心和修練之靈。

有一種人眼目多麼高傲啊！其眼皮睜得多高啊！有一種人牙如劍，齒如刀，要吞滅地上的困苦人、和人間的貧窮人。

我向你們做我朋友的說，對那殺身體、以後再沒有甚麼可作的、你們不要怕。

也替我求，使我在開口時、得到適當的話語，可以放膽無懼播知福音的奧祕

看哪，我使你的頭皮堅硬以敵對他們的頭皮，使你的頭額堅硬以敵對他們的頭額。我使你的頭額像金鋼鑽，比火石更堅硬；他們雖是叛逆之家，你可不要怕他們，不要因他們的臉色而驚慌。』

永恆主的使者對以利亞說：『你跟他下去；不要怕他。』以利亞就起來，跟他下去見王，

因為邪惡像火燒着，燒滅蒺藜和荊棘；在森林的叢藪中着起來，旋轉上騰，成為浮煙。

對那些殺身體而不能殺靈魂的，你們不要怕；惟獨對那能把靈魂又把身體都滅在地獄裏的，你們倒要怕。

我必使你的舌頭貼住上膛，以致你啞口，不能做責備他們、的人；他們原是叛逆之家呀。但我同你說話的時候，我必開你的口，你就要對他們說：「主永恆主這麼說」；要聽的可以聽；不要聽的、任他不聽；因為他們總是叛逆之家呀。

在任何事上都不被敵人所驚嚇。這在他們是滅亡的豫兆，在你們卻是得救的明證，而這明證乃是從上帝而來的。

伯特利的祭司亞瑪謝打發人去見以色列王耶羅波安說：『阿摩司在以色列家中圖謀背叛了你；他所說的一切話、這國擔當不起。因為阿摩司這麼說：「耶羅波安必死於刀下，以色列民一定流亡、離開本地。」』亞瑪謝又對阿摩司說：『見異象的人哪、走吧，逃往猶大地去吧！在那裏找口飯喫，在那裏傳神言吧！在伯特利嘛，可別再傳神言了；因為這裏有王的聖所，這裏有王國的宮殿。』阿摩司回答亞瑪謝說：『我不是神言人，也不是神言人的弟子；我乃是牧夫，又是整理無花果桑樹的；永恆主選取了我、使我不趕羊；永恆主對我說：「你去向我人民以色列傳神言。」『如今呢、你要聽永恆主的話。你說：「不可傳神言攻擊以色列，不可發神言攻擊以撒家。」故此永恆主這麼說：「你的妻子必在城中做妓女，你的兒女必倒斃於刀下，你的土地必被測量繩所瓜分；你自己呢、必在不潔淨之地死掉，以色列民一定流亡、離開本地。」』

官長們見彼得約翰坦然無懼，又理會他們是沒有學問的外行人，就希奇。他們既認得他們是曾經同耶穌在一起的，

如今主啊，鑒察他們的恐嚇哦，使你僕人能完全放膽無懼講你的道；

至於我呢、我仗着永恆主的靈、則滿有力量、滿有公平和能力、可以向雅各說明他的過犯，向以色列指出他的罪。

『對於以色列家，四圍那些輕蔑他們的人、以後必不再向他們作刺人的蒺藜、作給人疼痛的荊棘。人就知道我乃是主永恆主。

他們就說：『來吧，我們來設計謀害耶利米；因為祭司有禮節規矩，智慧人有謀略，神言人有話語，都不能斷絕掉。來吧，我們用口舌攻擊他，他的甚麼話、我們都別理它。』

但匪類卻像荊棘、都被丟棄；是不能用手拿的；人要摸它，總得裝備鐵器和矛杆，它就徹底被燒掉於火中了。』

但是彼得約翰卻回答他們說：『聽你們、過於聽上帝，這在上帝面前對不對，你們自己判斷吧。

有蝗蟲從煙裏出來，到了地上；有權柄給了牠們，像地上的蠍子有權柄一樣。又有話吩咐牠們別傷害地上的草、或各樣青物、各樣樹木，惟獨要傷害人、那沒有上帝印記在額上的人。蝗蟲卻沒有得權柄可以殺戮他們，只要叫他們受苦痛五個月；他們的苦痛就像蠍子螫人時所引起的苦痛一樣。當那些日子、人必求死，決尋不着死；人必切願要死，死卻逃避他們。

『認識公義、將我的律法存於心中的人民哪，聽我吧！不要怕人的辱罵，不要因人的毁謗而驚慌；

他們都是悖逆中最悖逆的，經常來來往往、搬弄是非，簡直是銅是鐵，都是腐化敗壞。
