I will dry up the waters of the Nile and sell the land to an evil nation; by the hand of foreigners I will lay waste the land and everything in it. I the Lord have spoken.

列國強暴之外人、斫而去之、其枝墜於陵谷、其柯折於溪濱、天下萬民、離其蔭庇而去、

爾必死於外人之手、與未受割者同、主耶和華曰、我言之矣、○

命深淵竭、其河我則涸之、

旱及於諸水、使之盡涸、因其為雕像之境也、彼眾若狂以奉偶像、

因埃及王自謂、河為我有、乃我所造、埃及地必淒涼荒廢、則知我乃耶和華、我乃敵爾、及爾諸河、必使埃及地荒廢淒涼、自密奪至色弗尼、延及古實界、

蓋地與其所有、無不屬主、
