Then Zerubbabel son of Shealtiel and Joshua son of Jozadak set to work to rebuild the house of God in Jerusalem. And the prophets of God were with them, supporting them.

Zerubbabel, the son of Shealtiel, began to work. So did Joshua, the son of Jozadak. They began to rebuild the house of God in Jerusalem. The prophets of God were right there with them. They were helping them.

Then Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel and Jeshua the son of Jozadak arose and began to rebuild the house of God that is in Jerusalem, and the prophets of God were with them, supporting them.

Zerubbabel son of Shealtiel and Jeshua son of Jehozadak responded by starting again to rebuild the Temple of God in Jerusalem. And the prophets of God were with them and helped them.

Zerubbabel son of Shealtiel and Jeshua son of Jozadak began to rebuild God’s house in Jerusalem. The prophets of God were with them, helping them.

then Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel and Jeshua the son of Jozadak rose up and began to rebuild the house of God which is in Jerusalem; and the prophets of God were with them, supporting them.

約薩達子耶書亞、及其昆弟為祭司者、暨撒拉鐵子所羅巴伯、與其昆弟、咸起、而築以色列上帝之壇、欲獻燔祭於上、循上帝僕摩西之律所載、

猶大長老、因先知哈該、及易多孫撒迦利雅之預言、建造順遂、遵以色列上帝之命、及古列、大利烏、與波斯王亞達薛西之諭、完竣厥工、

彼又示我、見大祭司約書亞立於耶和華使者前、撒但立於其右為之敵、耶和華謂撒但曰、撒但歟、耶和華斥責爾、簡耶路撒冷之耶和華斥責爾、此非拔於火中之燼乎、約書亞衣不潔之服、立於使者前、使者謂立於其前者曰、去其不潔之服、復謂約書亞曰、我去爾之罪愆、衣爾以美服、

撒拉鐵子所羅巴伯、約撒答子大祭司約書亞、與諸遺民、遂遵其上帝耶和華之命、及先知哈該奉其上帝耶和華遣、所傳之言、民眾乃寅畏耶和華、耶和華之使者哈該、奉耶和華之命告民曰、耶和華云、我偕爾矣、耶和華感撒拉鐵子猶大方伯所羅巴伯、與約撒答子大祭司約書亞、及諸遺民之心、遂咸至、興工於其上帝萬軍耶和華之室、時、大利烏王二年、六月二十四日也、

是月二十四日、耶和華復諭哈該曰、告猶大方伯所羅巴伯云、我必震動天地、傾列邦之座位、滅萬民諸國之勢力、覆其車與駕之者、馬與乘之者、俱仆於昆弟之刃、萬軍之耶和華曰、我僕撒拉鐵子所羅巴伯歟、我已簡爾、是日我必視爾為印、萬軍之耶和華言之矣、

此非主爾信、乃助爾樂、蓋爾以信而立矣、

彼曰、此乃耶和華諭所羅巴伯之言曰、非以權勢、非以能力、乃藉我神、萬軍之耶和華言之矣、大山歟、爾為何、於所羅巴伯前、將成平壤、彼必出頂石而置之、有聲呼曰、恩寵、恩寵歸之、耶和華復諭我曰、所羅巴伯之手、既奠此室之基、其手亦必竣厥工、如是、爾則知萬軍之耶和華遣我就爾、

取其金銀、以之製冕、加於約撒答子大祭司約書亞之首、

耶和華曰、所羅巴伯歟、其強乃心、約撒答子大祭司約書亞歟、其強乃心、耶和華又曰、斯土眾民歟、其強乃心、興工操作、蓋我偕爾、萬軍之耶和華言之矣、依爾出埃及時、我與爾約之言、我神寓於爾中、爾勿畏懼、萬軍之耶和華曰、再延片時、我將震動天地海陸、亦將震動萬邦、萬邦所愉悅者將至我必以榮光充斯室、萬軍之耶和華言之矣、萬軍之耶和華曰、銀為我有、金亦我有、此室其後之榮、較前尤大、萬軍之耶和華言之矣、我將錫平康於斯土、萬軍之耶和華言之矣、○
