就是你藉你僕人眾先知所吩咐的，說：『你們要去得為業之地是污穢之地，因列邦民族的污穢和可憎的事，叫這地從這邊到那邊都充滿了污穢。

以色列的後裔與所有的外邦人分別出來，站着承認自己的罪和祖先的罪孽。

我必灑清水在你們身上，你們就潔淨了。我要潔淨你們，使你們脫離一切的污穢，棄絕一切的偶像。

其餘的百姓、祭司、利未人、門口的守衛、歌唱的、殿役，所有與鄰邦民族分別出來、歸服神律法的，以及他們的妻子、兒女，凡有知識、能明白的，

耶和華啊，你的法度最為確定；你的殿宜稱為聖，直到永遠。

有幾個人因屍體成了不潔淨，不能在那日守逾越節。當天他們到摩西、亞倫面前。那些人對他說：「我們因屍體而不潔淨，為何禁止我們，不能和以色列人在所定的日期獻供物給耶和華呢？」

所以主說：「你們務要從他們中間出來，跟他們分別；不要沾不潔淨的東西，我就收納你們。

以色列全會眾都要守這禮儀。若有外人寄居在你那裏，要向耶和華守逾越節，他所有的男子務要先受割禮，然後才可以當他是本地人，容許他守這禮儀。但未受割禮的都不可吃這羔羊。本地人和寄居在你們中間的外人當守同一個條例。」

這些事完成以後，眾領袖來接近我，說：「以色列百姓、祭司和利未人沒有棄絕迦南人、赫人、比利洗人、耶布斯人、亞捫人、摩押人、埃及人和亞摩利人等列邦民族所行可憎的事。

所以，親愛的，既然我們有這樣的應許，就當潔淨自己，除去身體和靈魂一切的污穢，藉着敬畏神，得以成聖。

離開吧！離開吧！你們要從巴比倫出來。你們扛抬耶和華器皿的人哪，不要沾染不潔淨之物，離去時務要保持潔淨。

「你要吩咐以色列人說：你們和你們後代中，若有人因屍體成了不潔淨，或出外遠行，仍然要向耶和華守逾越節，他們就要在二月十四日黃昏的時候守節，要吃羔羊，以及無酵餅和苦菜。他們不可留一點食物到早晨；羔羊的骨頭一根也不可折斷。他們要照逾越節的一切律例守這節。但潔淨又不出外遠行的人若不守逾越節，那人要從百姓中剪除，因為他沒有在所定的日期獻供物給耶和華，必須擔當自己的罪。若有寄居在你們那裏的外人要向耶和華守逾越節，他要照逾越節的律例和典章做。無論是寄居的或是本地人，都用同樣的律例。」
