Scripture foresaw that God would justify the Gentiles by faith, and announced the gospel in advance to Abraham:“ All nations will be blessed through you.”

Long ago, Scripture knew that God would make the Gentiles right with himself. He would do this by their faith in him. He announced the good news ahead of time to Abraham. God said,“ All nations will be blessed because of you.”( Genesis 12:3; 18:18; 22:18)

And the Scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the Gentiles by faith, preached the gospel beforehand to Abraham, saying,“ In you shall all the nations be blessed.”

What’s more, the Scriptures looked forward to this time when God would make the Gentiles right in his sight because of their faith. God proclaimed this good news to Abraham long ago when he said,“ All nations will be blessed through you.”

Now the Scripture saw in advance that God would justify the Gentiles by faith and proclaimed the gospel ahead of time to Abraham, saying, All the nations will be blessed through you.

給你祝福的，我也必給他祝福；咒詛你的，我也必咒詛他：地上萬宗族都必用你的名而給自己祝福。』

地上萬國都必用你後裔的名來給自己祝福，因為你聽了我的聲音。』

因為我們認定、人稱義是因着信，不在乎律法上的行為。難道上帝只是猶太人的上帝麼？不也是外國人的上帝麼？是的，也是外國人的上帝，因為上帝只有一位。他要因人的信稱受割禮為義，也要憑着人的信稱沒受割禮為義。

第七位天使吹了號筒；天上就有大聲音說：『世界的國已成了我們的主和他所膏立的基督的國了；他必掌王權、世世無窮。』

因為已有福音傳給我們，像傳給他們一樣。只是所聽之道、於他們無益，因為那道不在聽的人心裏跟信心打成一片。

神言人們的話也同這個符合；正如經上所寫的：『此後我必重返，重建大衛倒壞的帳幕；重建它的頹墟，把它重立起來；使其餘的人、就是凡稱為我名下的外國人、都尋求主；這是從古世以來將這些事工讓人知道的主說的。」

權柄之杖必不離開猶大，指揮之棍必不離開他兩腿之間，直到屬他的那位來到，萬族之民都歸順他。

其實不然，經書乃是斷言萬人都被圈住在犯罪之中，這就使所應許的須由相信耶穌基督、而賜給信的人了。

我必從雅各中領出後裔來，從猶大中領出那要擁有我的眾山的；我的選民必擁有她以為業，我的僕人必在那裏居住。

我必使你的後裔增多、如同天上的星；我必將這一切地都賜給你的後裔；地上萬國都必用你後裔的名來給自己祝福。

因為經上有話對法老說：『我將你舉起來，正是要證顯我的權能在你身上，並在全地上遍傳我的名。』

亞伯拉罕一定成為又大又強盛之國；地上萬國都必用他的名而給自己祝福。

諸應許原是向亞伯拉罕和他的一個後裔說的。不是說「和眾後裔」、像指着許多人說的，乃是說「和你的一個後裔」、指着一個人說的；那一個人就是基督啊。

你的後裔必像地上的塵沙那麼多；你必向西向東向北向南突破疆界；地上萬宗族必用你的名和你後裔的名給自己祝福。

信我的人就如經上所說：「必有活水之江河，從他腹中流出。」』

也知道你從幼年時就明白了聖典，就是能使你憑着信仰基督耶穌而有智慧、以至於得救的。每一部受上帝靈感的經典、對於教導、對於指責、對於規正、對於訓練人正義，全都有益，叫屬上帝的人完備，完全準備着、可行各樣的善事。

這樣，我們可怎麼說呢？那不追求義的外國人倒追着了義、那本着信的義；

因為大衛是指着耶穌基督而說的；他說：「我看見主時常在我眼前，因為他在我右邊、使我不被搖動。故此我的心快樂，我的舌頭歡躍，我的肉身還要安居在指望中，

然而經上是怎麼說的呢？經上是說：『把使女和她兒子趕出去吧；因為使女的兒子是斷不可以跟自主婦人的兒子一同承繼產業的。』

在他的日子願公義發旺，願各地都很泰平，直到月亮消逝。

就使境內的人還有十分之一，他們也必再被消滅。但是像篤耨香樹或橡樹，雖被砍下，仍有樹𣎴子在那裏：』這樹𣎴子、乃是聖的苗裔。

等我處置你仇敵做你腳的凳子。」

經上豈不是說：「基督是出於大衛的後裔，大衛所在的村子伯利恆」麼？』

此外另有一段經也說：『人們必瞻望自己所扎的人。』
