主也這樣規定、叫傳布福音的靠着福音而生活。至於我呢、這些個、我全沒享用過。我寫了這些話，並不是要人這樣待我。我寧可死，也不願意人使我的誇耀落了空。

因為經上說：「牛踹穀時、你別籠住牠的嘴」；又說：「工人得工錢是應當的。」

有一個逃出來的人來告訴希伯來人亞伯蘭。亞伯蘭正在亞摩利人幔利的聖篤耨香樹那裏居住。幔利是以實各的族弟兄，也是亞乃的族弟兄；這些人都是和亞伯蘭結約的盟友。
