He said,“ Canaan is cursed. He will be a servant of servants to his brothers.”

就说：“迦南该受咒诅，必做他弟兄的仆人的仆人。”

就说：“迦南应当受咒诅，他必给自己的兄弟，作奴仆的奴仆。”

就说：“迦南是受诅咒的！他必作自己兄弟们奴仆的奴仆。”

就說：迦南當受咒詛，必給他弟兄作奴僕的奴僕；

就說：「迦南當受詛咒，必給他弟兄作奴僕的奴僕。」

就說：「迦南當受詛咒，必給他弟兄作奴僕的奴僕。」

就說：「迦南該受咒詛，必做他弟兄的僕人的僕人。」

曰、迦南可詛、必於昆弟為奴之隸、

he said,“ Cursed be Canaan! The lowest of slaves will he be to his brothers.”

He said,“ May a curse be put on Canaan! He will be the lowest of slaves to his brothers.”

he said,“ Cursed be Canaan; a servant of servants shall he be to his brothers.”

Then he cursed Canaan, the son of Ham:“ May Canaan be cursed! May he be the lowest of servants to his relatives.”

he said: Canaan is cursed. He will be the lowest of slaves to his brothers.

So he said,“ Cursed be Canaan; A servant of servants He shall be to his brothers.”

Then he said:“ Cursed be Canaan; A servant of servants He shall be to his brethren.”

And he said, Cursed be Canaan; A servant of servants shall he be unto his brethren.

he said: Canaan will be cursed. He will be the lowest of slaves to his brothers.

And he said, Cursed[ be] Canaan; a servant of servants shall he be unto his brethren.

So he said,“ Cursed be Canaan! The lowest of slaves he will be to his brothers.”

Now therefore you are cursed, and some of you will never fail to be slaves, both wood cutters and drawers of water for the house of my God.”

‘ Cursed is he who dishonors his father or his mother.’ All the people shall say,‘ Amen.’

Jesus answered them,“ Most certainly I tell you, everyone who commits sin is the bondservant of sin.

As for all the people who were left of the Amorites, the Hittites, the Perizzites, the Hivites, and the Jebusites, who were not of the children of Israel;their children who were left after them in the land, whom the children of Israel were not able utterly to destroy, of them Solomon raised a levy of bondservants to this day.

Ham, the father of Canaan, saw the nakedness of his father, and told his two brothers outside.

When Israel had grown strong, they put the Canaanites to forced labor, and didn’t utterly drive them out.Ephraim didn’t drive out the Canaanites who lived in Gezer, but the Canaanites lived in Gezer among them.Zebulun didn’t drive out the inhabitants of Kitron, nor the inhabitants of Nahalol; but the Canaanites lived among them, and became subject to forced labor.

Cursed be their anger, for it was fierce; and their wrath, for it was cruel. I will divide them in Jacob, and scatter them in Israel.

That day Joshua made them wood cutters and drawers of water for the congregation and for Yahweh’s altar to this day, in the place which he should choose.

The fruit of your body, the fruit of your ground, the increase of your livestock, and the young of your flock will be cursed.

Yahweh God said to the serpent,“ Because you have done this, you are cursed above all livestock, and above every animal of the field. You shall go on your belly and you shall eat dust all the days of your life.
