神四十年之久，又厌烦谁呢？岂不是那些犯罪、尸首倒在旷野的人吗？

四十年之久惹上帝发怒的是谁呢？不就是那些犯罪作恶并倒毙在旷野的人吗？

四十年之久，神向谁发怒呢？不就是向那些犯了罪陈尸旷野的人吗？

神又向谁发怒了四十年之久呢？难道不是那些犯了罪、尸首倒在旷野的人吗？

神四十年之久，又厭煩誰呢？豈不是那些犯罪、屍首倒在曠野的人嗎？

上帝向誰發怒四十年之久呢？豈不是那些犯罪而陳屍在曠野的人嗎？

四十年之久惹上帝發怒的是誰呢？不就是那些犯罪作惡並倒斃在曠野的人嗎？

四十年之久，神向誰發怒呢？不就是向那些犯了罪陳屍曠野的人嗎？

上帝四十年厭惡誰呢？豈不是那些犯了罪、屍首倒在曠野的人麼？

神又向誰發怒了四十年之久呢？難道不是那些犯了罪、屍首倒在曠野的人嗎？

又四十年彼所不悅者誰耶、非干罰而屍仆於野者乎、

上帝於四十載中憾誰、非犯罪而暴骨於野者乎、

天主於四十年間怒誰、非犯罪而屍仆於曠野者乎、

天主所謂：「厭惡斯代、垂四十春」者、又誰耶？非多行不義、卒至暴屍曠野者乎？

And with whom was he angry for forty years? Was it not with those who sinned, whose bodies perished in the wilderness?

Who was God angry with for 40 years? Wasn’t it with those who sinned? They died in the desert.

And with whom was he provoked for forty years? Was it not with those who sinned, whose bodies fell in the wilderness?

And who made God angry for forty years? Wasn’t it the people who sinned, whose corpses lay in the wilderness?

With whom was God angry for forty years? Wasn’t it with those who sinned, whose bodies fell in the wilderness?

And with whom was He angry for forty years? Was it not with those who sinned, whose dead bodies fell in the wilderness?

Now with whom was He angry forty years? Was it not with those who sinned, whose corpses fell in the wilderness?

And with whom was he displeased forty years? was it not with them that sinned, whose bodies fell in the wilderness?

And who was He provoked with for 40 years? Was it not with those who sinned, whose bodies fell in the wilderness?

But with whom was he grieved forty years?[ was it] not with them that had sinned, whose carcases fell in the wilderness?

And against whom was God provoked for forty years? Was it not those who sinned, whose dead bodies fell in the wilderness?

With whom was he displeased forty years? Wasn’t it with those who sinned, whose bodies fell in the wilderness?

你们的尸首必倒在这旷野，并且你们中间凡被数点、从二十岁以外、向我发怨言的，

从前主救了他的百姓出埃及地，后来就把那些不信的灭绝了。这一切的事，你们虽然都知道，我却仍要提醒你们。

你当说，耶和华如此说：‘人的尸首必倒在田野像粪土，又像收割的人遗落的一把禾稼，无人收取。’”

至于你们，你们的尸首必倒在这旷野；你们的儿女必在旷野飘流四十年，担当你们淫行的罪，直到你们的尸首在旷野消灭。

这些人虽看见我的荣耀和我在埃及与旷野所行的神迹，仍然试探我这十次，不听从我的话，

但被数的人中，没有一个是摩西和祭司亚伦从前在西奈的旷野所数的以色列人，因为耶和华论到他们说：“他们必要死在旷野。”所以，除了耶孚尼的儿子迦勒和嫩的儿子约书亚以外，连一个人也没有存留。

耶和华的手也攻击他们，将他们从营中除灭，直到灭尽。“兵丁从民中都灭尽死亡以后，

弟兄们，我不愿意你们不晓得，我们的祖宗从前都在云下，都从海中经过，都在云里、海里受洗归了摩西；并且都吃了一样的灵食，也都喝了一样的灵水。所喝的，是出于随着他们的灵磐石；那磐石就是基督。但他们中间多半是神不喜欢的人，所以在旷野倒毙。这些事都是我们的鉴戒，叫我们不要贪恋恶事，像他们那样贪恋的；也不要拜偶像，像他们有人拜的。如经上所记：“百姓坐下吃喝，起来玩耍。”我们也不要行奸淫，像他们有人行的，一天就倒毙了二万三千人；也不要试探主，像他们有人试探的，就被蛇所灭。你们也不要发怨言，像他们有发怨言的，就被灭命的所灭。他们遭遇这些事都要作为鉴戒，并且写在经上，正是警戒我们这末世的人。所以，自己以为站得稳的，须要谨慎，免得跌倒。你们所遇见的试探，无非是人所能受的。神是信实的，必不叫你们受试探过于所能受的；在受试探的时候，总要给你们开一条出路，叫你们能忍受得住。
