which had the golden altar of incense and the gold-covered ark of the covenant. This ark contained the gold jar of manna, Aaron’s staff that had budded, and the stone tablets of the covenant.

It had the golden altar for incense. It also had the wooden chest called the ark of the covenant. The ark was covered with gold. It held the gold jar of manna. It held Aaron’s walking stick that had budded. It also held the stone tablets. The words of the covenant were written on them.

In that room were a gold incense altar and a wooden chest called the Ark of the Covenant, which was covered with gold on all sides. Inside the Ark were a gold jar containing manna, Aaron’s staff that sprouted leaves, and the stone tablets of the covenant.

The LORD told Moses,“ Put Aaron’s staff back in front of the testimony to be kept as a sign for the rebels, so that you may put an end to their complaints before me, or else they will die.”

Hang the curtain under the clasps and bring the ark of the testimony there behind the curtain, so the curtain will make a separation for you between the holy place and the most holy place.

Put the ark of the testimony there and screen off the ark with the curtain.

Moses took the testimony and placed it in the ark, and attached the poles to the ark. He set the mercy seat on top of the ark.He brought the ark into the tabernacle, put up the curtain for the screen, and screened off the ark of the testimony, just as the LORD had commanded him.

Nothing was in the ark except the two tablets that Moses had put in it at Horeb, where the LORD had made a covenant with the Israelites when they came out of Egypt.

Then he is to take a firepan full of blazing coals from the altar before the LORD and two handfuls of finely ground fragrant incense, and bring them inside the curtain.

The staff of the man I choose will sprout, and I will rid myself of the Israelites’ complaints that they have been making about you.”

I have provided a place there for the ark, where the LORD’s covenant is that he made with our ancestors when he brought them out of the land of Egypt.

The next day Moses entered the tent of the testimony and saw that Aaron’s staff, representing the house of Levi, had sprouted, formed buds, blossomed, and produced almonds!

Nothing was in the ark except the two stone tablets that Moses had put there at Horeb, where the LORD made a covenant with the Israelites when they came out of the land of Egypt.

I will write on the tablets the words that were on the first tablets you broke, and you are to place them in the ark.’So I made an ark of acacia wood, cut two stone tablets like the first ones, and climbed the mountain with the two tablets in my hand.Then on the day of the assembly, the LORD wrote on the tablets what had been written previously, the Ten Commandments that he had spoken to you on the mountain from the fire. The LORD gave them to me,and I went back down the mountain and placed the tablets in the ark I had made. And they have remained there, as the LORD commanded me.”

the pure gold ceremonial bowls, wick trimmers, sprinkling basins, ladles, and firepans; and the gold hinges for the doors of the inner temple( that is, the most holy place) and for the doors of the temple sanctuary.

As Moses descended from Mount Sinai— with the two tablets of the testimony in his hands as he descended the mountain— he did not realize that the skin of his face shone as a result of his speaking with the LORD.

Moses said,“ This is what the LORD has commanded:‘ Two quarts of it are to be preserved throughout your generations, so that they may see the bread I fed you in the wilderness when I brought you out of the land of Egypt.’”Moses told Aaron,“ Take a container and put two quarts of manna in it. Then place it before the LORD to be preserved throughout your generations.”As the LORD commanded Moses, Aaron placed it before the testimony to be preserved.

“ They are to make an ark of acacia wood, forty-five inches long, twenty-seven inches wide, and twenty-seven inches high.Overlay it with pure gold; overlay it both inside and out. Also make a gold molding all around it.Cast four gold rings for it and place them on its four feet, two rings on one side and two rings on the other side.Make poles of acacia wood and overlay them with gold.Insert the poles into the rings on the sides of the ark in order to carry the ark with them.The poles are to remain in the rings of the ark; they must not be removed from it.Put the tablets of the testimony that I will give you into the ark.Make a mercy seat of pure gold, forty-five inches long and twenty-seven inches wide.Make two cherubim of gold; make them of hammered work at the two ends of the mercy seat.Make one cherub at one end and one cherub at the other end. At its two ends, make the cherubim of one piece with the mercy seat.The cherubim are to have wings spread out above, covering the mercy seat with their wings, and are to face one another. The faces of the cherubim should be toward the mercy seat.Set the mercy seat on top of the ark and put the tablets of the testimony that I will give you into the ark.I will meet with you there above the mercy seat, between the two cherubim that are over the ark of the testimony; I will speak with you from there about all that I command you regarding the Israelites.

Another angel, with a golden incense burner, came and stood at the altar. He was given a large amount of incense to offer with the prayers of all the saints on the golden altar in front of the throne.

The LORD will extend your mighty scepter from Zion. Rule over your surrounding enemies.Your people will volunteer on your day of battle. In holy splendor, from the womb of the dawn, the dew of your youth belongs to you.

“ You are to make an altar for the burning of incense; make it of acacia wood.It must be square, eighteen inches long and eighteen inches wide; it must be thirty-six inches high. Its horns must be of one piece with it.Overlay its top, all around its sides, and its horns with pure gold; make a gold molding all around it.Make two gold rings for it under the molding on two of its sides; put these on opposite sides of it to be holders for the poles to carry it with.Make the poles of acacia wood and overlay them with gold.
