耶和华使大地震动的时候，众人躲进岩穴，藏入地洞，逃避祂的愤怒和威荣。

为我百姓那长满荆棘和蒺藜的土地，为那曾经充满欢乐的城邑和家庭哀哭吧！

这罪使耶罗波安家走向没落，最终彻底灭亡。

耶和华说：“要在基比亚吹角，在拉玛鸣号，在伯·亚文呐喊，便雅悯啊，敌人就在你身后！

“虽然以色列如同妓女，对我不忠，但不要使犹大犯罪。不要到吉甲去，不要到伯·亚文去，不要凭永活的耶和华起誓。

那里的宫殿荆棘丛生，蒺藜、刺草遍布坚城，成了野狗的巢穴和鸵鸟的住处。

他们在山顶和高岗上的橡树、杨树和栗树下献祭烧香，因为树荫怡人。“所以，你们的女儿卖淫，你们的儿媳通奸。

因为耶罗波安犯罪作孽，使以色列人陷入罪中，耶和华必抛弃以色列。”

他们心怀诡诈，必受惩罚。耶和华要拆毁他们的祭坛，打碎他们的神柱。

撒玛利亚的居民要因伯·亚文的牛犊偶像而恐惧颤抖；祭拜它的人要哀伤，供奉它的祭司要痛哭，因为它的荣耀将离开他们。

那时候，人求死，却求不到；想死，死却躲避他们。
