耶和华说：“以色列人啊，从基比亚的日子以来，你们一直不断地犯罪，从未改变。难道战祸没有临到基比亚的邪恶之辈吗？

“以色列啊，你从基比亚的日子以来时常犯罪。你们的先人曾站在那里，现今住基比亚的人以为攻击罪孽之辈的战事临不到自己。

以色列啊，你从基比亚的日子以来就时常犯罪，他们仍停留在那里。攻击罪孽之辈的战事岂不会临到基比亚吗？

以色列歟、爾之干罪、較在基比亞時為尤甚、彼眾立於基比亞、以免攻不義者之戰及之、

耶和華曰、昔在其庇亞、以色列族犯罪、至於今、若出一轍、余將降災於惡人、其庇亞之民豈能逭罰、

昔在基比亞、以色列犯罪、自其時以來、爾恆犯罪、其時爾曹先人、立於基比亞、護彼惡類、免被徵伐、

“ Since the days of Gibeah, you have sinned, Israel, and there you have remained. Will not war again overtake the evildoers in Gibeah?

The Lord says,“ Israel, you have done evil things ever since your people sinned at Gibeah long ago. And you are still doing what is evil. War will come again to those who sinned at Gibeah.

From the days of Gibeah, you have sinned, O Israel; there they have continued. Shall not the war against the unjust overtake them in Gibeah?

The Lord says,“ O Israel, ever since Gibeah, there has been only sin and more sin! You have made no progress whatsoever. Was it not right that the wicked men of Gibeah were attacked?

Israel, you have sinned since the days of Gibeah; they have taken their stand there. Will not war against the unjust overtake them in Gibeah?

Since the days of Gibeah you have sinned, Israel; There they stand! Will the battle against the sons of injustice not overtake them in Gibeah?

“ O Israel, you have sinned from the days of Gibeah; There they stood. The battle in Gibeah against the children of iniquity Did not overtake them.

O Israel, thou hast sinned from the days of Gibeah: there they stood; the battle against the children of iniquity doth not overtake them in Gibeah.

Israel, you have sinned since the days of Gibeah; they have taken their stand there. Will not war against the unjust overtake them in Gibeah?

O Israel, you have sinned since the time of Gibeah, and there you have remained. Did not war overtake the evildoers in Gibeah?

“ Israel, you have sinned from the days of Gibeah. There they remained. The battle against the children of iniquity doesn’t overtake them in Gibeah.

你们败坏至极，恰如从前在基比亚的日子。耶和华必记住你们的罪恶，追讨你们的罪债。

“我已消灭列国，摧毁他们的城楼，使他们的街道荒废，没有路人；他们的城邑沦为废墟，杳无人迹，没有居民。我以为这城一定会敬畏我，接受管教，这样我就不必照所定的毁灭她。然而，他们却更加热衷于犯罪作恶。

其他十一个以色列支派则召集了四十万善战的刀兵。以色列人到伯特利去求问上帝，说：“我们当中哪个支派应当先去攻打便雅悯人呢？”耶和华说：“犹大支派。”第二天清早，以色列人就在基比亚附近安营，摆开阵势，准备攻打便雅悯人。便雅悯人从基比亚出来，当天杀了以色列军两万二千人。以色列人重整士气，仍在第一天列阵的地方列阵。列阵之前，他们在耶和华面前一直哀哭到晚上。他们求问耶和华，说：“我们应该再去攻打我们的同胞便雅悯人吗？”耶和华说：“可以去。”第二天，以色列人前去攻打便雅悯人。便雅悯人从基比亚出来迎战，又杀了以色列军一万八千刀兵。以色列全军来到伯特利，坐在耶和华面前哀哭，那天他们一直禁食到晚上，又在耶和华面前献上燔祭和平安祭。那时，上帝的约柜就在那里，亚伦的孙子、以利亚撒的儿子非尼哈任祭司。以色列人求问耶和华，说：“我们应该再去攻打我们的同胞便雅悯人吗？还是退兵？”耶和华说：“去攻打吧，因为明天我必把他们交在你们手中。”

现在把那些基比亚的无赖交出来，我们要处死他们，从以色列铲除罪恶。”便雅悯人却充耳不闻，还从各城聚集到基比亚跟以色列人打仗。

他们正欢快的时候，城里的一群无赖前来围住房子，连连叩门，对老人说：“把你家里的客人交出来，我们要跟他性交。”老人出去对他们说：“弟兄们啊，不要做这种恶事！这人是我的客人，不要干这种卑鄙的事！我有个女儿，仍是处女，还有这人的妾，我把她们交出来，任你们玩弄，只是不要对这人干这种卑鄙的事。”他们却不肯听。利未人就把自己的妾推出去交给他们。他们强暴她，终夜凌辱她，直到天快亮才放她走。她回到丈夫住宿的房子门前，就扑倒在地。早晨，她丈夫起来打开房门要上路，发现她倒卧在门前，双手搭在门槛上，就对她说：“起来，我们走吧！”她却没有反应。于是，他就把她的尸体放在驴背上启程回家。回到家里，他用刀把尸体切成十二块，派人送往以色列全境。看见的人都说：“自从以色列人离开埃及以来，这种事从未发生过，也从未见过。我们必须商量一下，看看该怎么办。”

耶和华闻到这燔祭的馨香，心想：“虽然人从小就心存恶念，但我再不会因为人的缘故而咒诅大地，再不会毁灭一切生灵。

那天晚上，基比亚人包围我们住宿的房子，要杀死我。他们把我的妾蹂躏致死。

这样，你们自己证明自己是杀害先知之人的后代。去填满你们祖先的罪恶吧！

耶和华看见人罪恶深重，心中终日思想恶事，
