In that day I will make a covenant for them with the beasts of the field, the birds in the sky and the creatures that move along the ground. Bow and sword and battle I will abolish from the land, so that all may lie down in safety.

At that time I will make a covenant for the good of my people. I will make it with the wild animals and the birds in the sky. It will also be made with the creatures that move along the ground. I will remove bows and swords and other weapons of war from the land. Then my people can lie down in safety.

And I will make for them a covenant on that day with the beasts of the field, the birds of the heavens, and the creeping things of the ground. And I will abolish the bow, the sword, and war from the land, and I will make you lie down in safety.

他使戰爭止息，直到地極；他打斷弓、砍斷矛，用烈火燒掉戰車。

到那日，人眼目的高慢必成卑賤，人的高傲也必會降卑，唯獨耶和華被高舉。

耶和華必作全地的王；到那日，耶和華就是獨一無二的，他的名也是獨一無二的。

住在至高者隱祕處的，將安居在全能者的蔭庇下。我要對耶和華說：「我的避難所、我的要塞、我的神，我依靠你！」是的，他必解救你脫離捕鳥人的網羅，脫離致命的瘟疫；他必用自己的羽翼遮蔽你，你要投靠在他的翅膀底下；他的信實是盾牌和壁壘。你必不怕夜間的恐懼，或是白天飛來的箭；也不怕幽暗中流行的瘟疫，或是正午毀滅人的病毒。即使千人仆倒在你旁邊，萬人仆倒在你右邊，災禍也不會接近你。你只要用眼觀看，就會看到惡人的報應。因為你把耶和華——至高者、我的避難所——當作你的居所，惡事必不會發生在你身上，疾患也不會靠近你的帳篷；因為他會為你吩咐他的天使們，在你一切的道路上保守你；他們會用手把你舉起來，免得你的腳撞到石頭上；你會踏在猛獅和毒蛇身上，踩踏少壯獅子和大蛇。

到那日，人的高慢必會降卑，人的高傲必成卑賤；唯獨耶和華被高舉，

我必從以法蓮剪除戰車，從耶路撒冷剪除戰馬；爭戰的弓必被剪除。他要向列國宣告平安；他的權勢必從這海直到那海，從大河直到地極。

到那日，許多國家必歸附耶和華，作我的子民，我必住在你中間。」這樣你就知道：萬軍之耶和華派遣了我到你那裡。

『到那日，你們各人必邀請自己的鄰人到葡萄樹下和無花果樹下。』這是萬軍之耶和華的宣告。」

到那日，猶大地必有人唱這首歌：「我們有一座堅固的城，耶和華以救恩為城牆和壁壘。

到那日，他的腳必站在橄欖山上——這山面向耶路撒冷，位於耶路撒冷的東邊；橄欖山必從東向西裂為兩半，形成極大的山谷，山的一半向北挪移，另一半向南挪移。

他讓我躺臥在青草地上，領我到安寧的水邊。
