At that time the LORD will punish with his destructive, great, and powerful sword Leviathan the fast-moving serpent, Leviathan the squirming serpent; he will kill the sea monster.

到那日，耶和华必用祂无坚不摧的利剑惩罚巨龙——那飞快、曲行的蛇。祂必杀死那海中的怪物。

到那日，耶和华要施用他锐利、巨大和有力的刀，惩罚鳄鱼，就是那快行的蛇；惩罚鳄鱼，就是那曲行的蛇；并且要杀海中的大龙。

到那日，耶和华必用他严酷、巨大、有力的刀，惩罚利维亚坦，就是那逃窜的蛇；惩罚利维亚坦，就是那蜷曲的蛇；并且杀死海中的巨兽。

到那日，耶和華必用他剛硬有力的大刀刑罰鱷魚－就是那快行的蛇，刑罰鱷魚－就是那曲行的蛇，並殺海中的大魚。

到那日，耶和華必用他堅硬銳利的大刀懲罰力威亞探，就是那爬得快的蛇，懲罰力威亞探，就是那彎彎曲曲的蛇，並殺死海裏的大魚。

到那日，耶和華要施用他銳利、巨大和有力的刀，懲罰鱷魚，就是那快行的蛇；懲罰鱷魚，就是那曲行的蛇；並且要殺海中的大龍。

當那日子、永恆主必用他剛硬巨大有力的刀來察罰飛奔蛇鱷魚，察罰曲行蛇鱷魚，並殺那在海中的大獸。

到那日，耶和華必用他嚴酷、巨大、有力的刀，懲罰利維亞坦，就是那逃竄的蛇；懲罰利維亞坦，就是那蜷曲的蛇；並且殺死海中的巨獸。

是日也、耶和華以其堅剛且鉅之刃、罰彼鱷魚、即滑汰之蛇、罰彼鱷魚、即蟠屈之蛇、並戮海中之龍焉、○

爰有敵人、若海中之鱷魚、其體雄偉、其行迅速、盤曲若蛇、當斯時也、耶和華將持巨刃、堅利無儔、以剪斯敵。

當是日主將以堅利巨刃、殺利未雅坦急趨之蛇、殺利未雅坦盤曲之蛇、並殺海中之龍、

In that day, the Lord will punish with his sword— his fierce, great and powerful sword— Leviathan the gliding serpent, Leviathan the coiling serpent; he will slay the monster of the sea.

At that time the Lord will punish Leviathan with his sword. His great, powerful and deadly sword will punish the serpent that glides through the sea. He will kill that twisting sea monster.

In that day the Lord with his hard and great and strong sword will punish Leviathan the fleeing serpent, Leviathan the twisting serpent, and he will slay the dragon that is in the sea.

In that day the Lord will take his terrible, swift sword and punish Leviathan, the swiftly moving serpent, the coiling, writhing serpent. He will kill the dragon of the sea.

On that day the LORD with his relentless, large, strong sword will bring judgment on Leviathan, the fleeing serpent— Leviathan, the twisting serpent. He will slay the monster that is in the sea.

On that day the Lord will punish Leviathan the fleeing serpent, With His fierce and great and mighty sword, Even Leviathan the twisted serpent; And He will kill the dragon who lives in the sea.

In that day the Lord with His severe sword, great and strong, Will punish Leviathan the fleeing serpent, Leviathan that twisted serpent; And He will slay the reptile that is in the sea.

In that day Jehovah with his hard and great and strong sword will punish leviathan the swift serpent, and leviathan the crooked serpent; and he will slay the monster that is in the sea.

On that day the Lord with His harsh, great, and strong sword, will bring judgment on Leviathan, the fleeing serpent— Leviathan, the twisting serpent. He will slay the monster that is in the sea.

In that day the LORD with his sore and great and strong sword shall punish leviathan the piercing serpent, even leviathan that crooked serpent; and he shall slay the dragon that[ is] in the sea.

In that day, Yahweh with his hard and great and strong sword will punish leviathan, the fleeing serpent, and leviathan the twisted serpent; and he will kill the dragon that is in the sea.

For the LORD judges all humanity with fire and his sword; the LORD will kill many.

Wake up! Wake up! Clothe yourself with strength, O arm of the LORD! Wake up as in former times, as in antiquity! Did you not smash the Proud One? Did you not wound the sea monster?

Tell them,‘ This is what the sovereign LORD says:“‘ Look, I am against you, Pharaoh king of Egypt, the great monster lying in the midst of its waterways, who has said,“ My Nile is my own, I made it for myself.”

Then another sign appeared in heaven: a huge red dragon that had seven heads and ten horns, and on its heads were seven diadem crowns.Now the dragon’s tail swept away a third of the stars in heaven and hurled them to the earth. Then the dragon stood before the woman who was about to give birth, so that he might devour her child as soon as it was born.So the woman gave birth to a son, a male child, who is going to rule over all the nations with an iron rod. Her child was suddenly caught up to God and to his throne,and she fled into the wilderness where a place had been prepared for her by God, so she could be taken care of for 1,260 days.Then war broke out in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon, and the dragon and his angels fought back.But the dragon was not strong enough to prevail, so there was no longer any place left in heaven for him and his angels.So that huge dragon– the ancient serpent, the one called the devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world– was thrown down to the earth, and his angels along with him.Then I heard a loud voice in heaven saying,“ The salvation and the power and the kingdom of our God, and the ruling authority of his Christ, have now come, because the accuser of our brothers and sisters, the one who accuses them day and night before our God, has been thrown down.But they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives so much that they were afraid to die.Therefore you heavens rejoice, and all who reside in them! But woe to the earth and the sea because the devil has come down to you! He is filled with terrible anger, for he knows that he only has a little time!”Now when the dragon realized that he had been thrown down to the earth, he pursued the woman who had given birth to the male child.But the woman was given the two wings of a giant eagle so that she could fly out into the wilderness, to the place God prepared for her, where she is taken care of– away from the presence of the serpent– for a time, times, and half a time.Then the serpent spouted water like a river out of his mouth after the woman in an attempt to sweep her away by a flood,but the earth came to her rescue; the ground opened up and swallowed the river that the dragon had spewed from his mouth.So the dragon became enraged at the woman and went away to make war on the rest of her children, those who keep God’s commandments and hold to the testimony about Jesus.And the dragon stood on the sand of the seashore.Then I saw a beast coming up out of the sea. It had ten horns and seven heads, and on its horns were ten diadem crowns, and on its heads a blasphemous name.Now the beast that I saw was like a leopard, but its feet were like a bear’s, and its mouth was like a lion’s mouth. The dragon gave the beast his power, his throne, and great authority to rule.

The ships travel there, and over here swims the whale you made to play in it.

By his breath the skies became fair; his hand pierced the fleeing serpent.

You destroyed the sea by your strength; you shattered the heads of the sea monster in the water.You crushed the heads of Leviathan; you fed him to the people who live along the coast.

He seized the dragon– the ancient serpent, who is the devil and Satan– and tied him up for a thousand years.

A wolf and a lamb will graze together; a lion, like an ox, will eat straw, and a snake’s food will be dirt. They will no longer injure or destroy on my entire royal mountain,” says the LORD.

Therefore, repent! If not, I will come against you quickly and make war against those people with the sword of my mouth.

For look, the LORD is coming out of the place where he lives, to punish the sin of those who live on the earth. The earth will display the blood shed on it; it will no longer cover up its slain.

Let those who curse the day curse it– those who are prepared to rouse Leviathan.

Then Job answered:“ Without a doubt you are the people, and wisdom will die with you.I also have understanding as well as you; I am not inferior to you. Who does not know such things as these?I am a laughingstock to my friends, I, who called on God and whom he answered– a righteous and blameless man is a laughingstock!For calamity, there is derision( according to the ideas of the fortunate)– a fate for those whose feet slip!But the tents of robbers are peaceful, and those who provoke God are confident– who carry their god in their hands.“ But now, ask the animals and they will teach you, or the birds of the sky and they will tell you.Or speak to the earth and it will teach you, or let the fish of the sea declare to you.Which of all these does not know that the hand of the LORD has done this,in whose hand is the life of every creature and the breath of all the human race.Does not the ear test words, as the tongue tastes food?Is not wisdom found among the aged? Does not long life bring understanding?“ With God are wisdom and power; counsel and understanding are his.If he tears down, it cannot be rebuilt; if he imprisons a person, there is no escape.If he holds back the waters, then they dry up; if he releases them, they destroy the land.With him are strength and prudence; both the one who goes astray and the one who misleads are his.He leads counselors away stripped and makes judges into fools.He loosens the bonds of kings and binds a loincloth around their waist.He leads priests away stripped and overthrows the potentates.He deprives the trusted advisers of speech and takes away the discernment of elders.He pours contempt on noblemen and disarms the powerful.He reveals the deep things of darkness, and brings deep shadows into the light.He makes nations great, and destroys them; he extends the boundaries of nations and disperses them.He deprives the leaders of the earth of their understanding; he makes them wander in a trackless desert waste.They grope about in darkness without light; he makes them stagger like drunkards.

“ Son of man, sing a lament for Pharaoh king of Egypt, and say to him:“‘ You were like a lion among the nations, but you are a monster in the seas; you thrash about in your streams, stir up the water with your feet, and muddy your streams.“‘ This is what the sovereign LORD says:“‘ I will throw my net over you in the assembly of many peoples; and they will haul you up in my dragnet.I will leave you on the ground, I will fling you on the open field, I will allow all the birds of the sky to settle on you, and I will permit all the wild animals to gorge themselves on you.I will put your flesh on the mountains, and fill the valleys with your maggot-infested carcass.

I will sharpen my lightning- like sword, and my hand will grasp hold of the weapon of judgment; I will execute vengeance on my foes, and repay those who hate me!I will make my arrows drunk with blood, and my sword will devour flesh– the blood of the slaughtered and captured, the chief of the enemy’s leaders!’”

Strap your sword to your thigh, O warrior! Appear in your majestic splendor!

Then I saw another beast coming up from the earth. He had two horns like a lamb, but was speaking like a dragon.

they worshiped the dragon because he had given ruling authority to the beast, and they worshiped the beast too, saying:“ Who is like the beast?” and“ Who is able to make war against him?”

Then the angel said to me,“ The waters you saw( where the prostitute is seated) are peoples, multitudes, nations, and languages.

He says,“ Indeed, my sword has slaughtered heavenly powers. Look, it now descends on Edom, on the people I will annihilate in judgment.”The LORD’s sword is dripping with blood, it is covered with fat; it drips with the blood of young rams and goats and is covered with the fat of rams’ kidneys. For the LORD is holding a sacrifice in Bozrah, a bloody slaughter in the land of Edom.

The others were killed by the sword that extended from the mouth of the one who rode the horse, and all the birds gorged themselves with their flesh.

Then one of the seven angels who had the seven bowls came and spoke to me.“ Come,” he said,“ I will show you the condemnation and punishment of the great prostitute who sits on many waters,

“ You who live along the rivers of Babylon, the time of your end has come. You who are rich in plundered treasure, it is time for your lives to be cut off.

How long will you cry out,‘ Oh, sword of the LORD, how long will it be before you stop killing? Go back into your sheath! Stay there and rest!’

Then I saw three unclean spirits that looked like frogs coming out of the mouth of the dragon, out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet.

It ranks first among the works of God, the One who made it has furnished it with a sword.

“ King Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon devoured me and drove my people out. Like a monster from the deep he swallowed me. He filled his belly with my riches. He made me an empty dish. He completely cleaned me out.”
