創地之先、已有大道、爾豈未之知、未之聞耶。

爾豈未知乎、豈未聞乎、豈未自始傳於爾乎、豈未俯察地基而自悟乎、

Do you not know? Have you not heard? Has it not been told you from the beginning? Have you not understood since the earth was founded?

Don’t you know who made everything? Haven’t you heard about him? Hasn’t it been told to you from the beginning? Haven’t you understood it ever since the earth was made?

Haven’t you heard? Don’t you understand? Are you deaf to the words of God— the words he gave before the world began? Are you so ignorant?

諸天宣說他的公義；因為是上帝、他在施行審判的。（細拉）

『你們要懷念這事，而堅定不移，悖逆的人哪，心裏回想吧！

我的手奠定了大地，我的右手展鋪着諸天；我一呼喚它們，天地就一概站出來。

卻未嘗讓自己沒有證據，乃是施行善事，從天上給你們雨水和結果實的節候，將食物和愉快滿足你們的心。』

因為上帝之事所可知的、在人心裏很明顯：上帝曾給他們顯明出來。至於他的事、人所不能見的——他永久的能力及神性——從世界之創立以來，又是藉着他所造之物以被了悟而看清楚，使人無可推諉。因為他們雖然認識上帝，卻不看他為上帝而榮耀他，也不感謝他，反倒在思想上成為虛妄，他們蒙昧的心就昏暗了。

造它們的、正和它們一樣；凡倚靠它們的、正如它們一般。

他們怎樣在認識上帝選擇了「無上帝」，上帝就怎樣把他們放給不上選的心思，去行不該行的事；

你竟忘了那造了你、的永恆主，那展開諸天，奠定了大地的，而那窘迫人者準備要行毁滅時、你就終日懼怕他的烈怒呀！其實那窘迫人者的烈怒在哪裏呢？

其枝條枯乾，必被折斷；婦女必來，拿去生火。因為這人民是無知的人民；所以造他們的、不憐憫他們，形成他們的、不恩待他們。

嘿，以爐灰為食的人！被愚弄的心使他偏行了；他不能援救自己，也不能說：『莫非我右手中有虛假？』

這樣說來，猶太人有甚麼長處？割禮有甚麼益處呢？各方面多着呢：第一，上帝的神諭是託付了他們的。

諸天敘述上帝的榮耀；穹蒼宣說他手所作的。一日過一日傾吐言語；一夜過一夜陳述知識。並不是言，也不是語，其聲音也無可聽。但其聲音發出於全地，其言詞傳到世界的儘邊。其間有帳棚為日頭安設着：日頭如新郎出洞房，如勇士高興地跑路。

拜偶像的人一概是畜類、是愚頑，是虛無神所指教的：那神不過是木頭，其妝飾有從他施帶來的銀子錘成片，也有從烏法來的金子，都是匠人的作品，銀匠的手藝；其服裝是藍紫色、紫紅色料，都是巧匠的作品。惟獨永恆主才是真上帝；他是永活的上帝，是永遠的王：他一發怒，大地都震動；他一生氣，列國都抵受不住。你們要對他們這麼說：『那沒有造天造地的神必從地上、從天下、被除滅。』是永恆主用他的能力造了大地，用他的智慧建立了世界，用他的聰明展開了諸天。
