Then one of the seraphim flew to me with a live coal in his hand, which he had taken with tongs from the altar.

A seraph flew over to me. He was holding a hot coal. He had used tongs to take it from the altar.

遵律法、物以血致潔者居多、蓋不流血、則不得赦、欲致潔法天之幕、必當用此式、則天幕尤當用善祭、人手所作之聖所、即彷佛真幕模範、基督不之入、乃升於天、立上帝前以佑我、基督毋庸數行自獻、效祭司長、將牲血歲一入至聖所、若然、則基督當創世以來、屢遭艱苦、惟今值季世基督顯著、自獻為祭、滌除人罪、一而已足、

主告枲衣者曰、爾至𠼻𡀔［口氷］下、四輪間、盛炭於手、散之邑上。枲衣者往、我目睹之、

必取鼎、盛我壇上爇炭、香屑一掬、攜入簾中、

我有祭物可食、在幕奉事者、不得食之、

言及天使、則曰、其用使者猶風、役者猶火、

天使豈非執事之神、奉遣事得救之人乎、

夫我以水施洗、俾爾悔改、但後我來者、更勝於我、其履我亦不堪提、彼將以聖神及火施洗爾、

遂見火焰如舌、歧而止各人上、

哂啦咏侍立、各有六翼、以二翼蔽面、二翼覆足、二翼舒展。

昔我於異象中、目睹加伯列、今獻夕祭祈禱之時、加伯列迅速而飛、前來撫余、告我曰、但以理我來賜爾聰明智慧、爾蒙眷顧、始禱之時、我奉命蒞臨、俾爾知所見異象之意、
