倚靠耶和華、以耶和華為他所仰賴的，那人有福了！他必像樹栽於水旁，在河邊扎根，炎熱來到，毫不察覺，葉子仍必青翠；在乾旱之年，一無掛慮，並且結果不止。

你將我的哀哭變為跳舞，脫去我的麻衣，為我披上喜樂，

我因耶和華大大歡喜，我的心因上帝喜樂；因他以拯救為衣給我穿上，以公義為外袍給我披上，好像新郎戴上華冠，又如新娘佩戴首飾。

我實實在在地告訴你們，你們將要痛哭，哀號，世人反要歡喜。你們將要憂愁，然而你們的憂愁要變成喜樂。

你的衣服要時時潔白，你頭上也不要缺少膏油。

你喜愛公義，恨惡罪惡，所以上帝，就是你的上帝，用喜樂油膏你，勝過膏你的同伴。

不過，你們是被揀選的一族，是君尊的祭司，是神聖的國度，是屬上帝的子民，要使你們宣揚那召你們出黑暗入奇妙光明者的美德。

你們的光也要這樣照在人前，叫他們看見你們的好行為，把榮耀歸給你們在天上的父。」

這樣，凡好樹都結好果子，而壞樹結壞果子。好樹不能結壞果子，壞樹也不能結好果子。凡不結好果子的樹就砍下來，丟在火裏。

在我敵人面前，你為我擺設筵席；你用油膏了我的頭，使我的福杯滿溢。

此後，我觀看，看見有許多人，沒有人能計算，是從各邦國、各支派、各民族、各語言來的，站在寶座和羔羊面前，身穿白衣，手拿棕樹枝，大聲喊着說：「願救恩歸於坐在寶座上我們的上帝，也歸於羔羊！」眾天使都站在寶座和眾長老，以及四個活物的周圍，俯伏在寶座前，敬拜上帝，說：「阿們！頌讚、榮耀、智慧、感謝、尊貴、權能、力量都歸於我們的上帝，直到永永遠遠。阿們！」長老中有一位回應我說：「這些穿白衣的是誰？是從哪裏來的？」我對他說：「我主啊，你是知道的。」他向我說：「這些人是從大患難中出來的，他們曾用羔羊的血把衣裳洗得潔白。

你的太陽不再落下，月亮也不消失；因為耶和華必作你永遠的光。你悲哀的日子定要結束。你的居民全是義人，永遠得地為業；他們是我栽的苗，是我手的工作，為了彰顯我的榮耀。

義人要興旺如棕樹，生長如黎巴嫩的香柏樹。他們栽於耶和華的殿中，發旺在我們上帝的院裏。他們髮白的時候仍結果子，而且鮮美多汁，好顯明耶和華是正直的；他是我的磐石，在他毫無不義。

更靠着耶穌基督結滿仁義的果子，歸榮耀稱讚給上帝。

「我從你旁邊經過看見你，看哪，正是你渴慕愛情的時候，我就用我衣服的邊搭在你身上，遮蓋你的赤體；又向你起誓，與你立約，你就歸我。這是主耶和華說的。那時我用水洗你，洗淨你身上的血，又用油抹你。我使你身穿錦繡衣裳，腳穿海狗皮鞋，用細麻布裹着你，精緻衣料披在你身上。我用首飾打扮你：我把手鐲戴在你手上，項鏈在你頸上，我也把環子戴在你鼻上，耳環在你耳上，華冠在你頭上。這樣，你就有金銀的首飾，穿的是細麻衣和精緻衣料，以及錦繡衣裳；吃的是細麵、蜂蜜和油。你也極其美貌，配登王后之位。

你們若為基督的名受辱罵是有福的，因為榮耀的靈，就是上帝的靈，在你們身上。

因為你們是重價買來的。所以，要在你們的身體上榮耀上帝。

我說：「要將潔淨的冠冕戴在他頭上。」他們就把潔淨的冠冕戴在他頭上，給他穿上華美的衣服，耶和華的使者在旁邊站立。

得酒能悅人心，得油能潤人面，得糧能養人心。

末底改穿着藍色白色的朝服，頭戴大金冠冕，又穿紫色細麻布的外袍，從王面前出來；書珊城充滿了歡樂的呼聲。

你們多結果子，我父就因此得榮耀，你們也就是我的門徒了。

以這兩日為猶太人擺脫仇敵得享平安、轉憂為喜、轉悲為樂的吉日，並在這兩日設宴歡樂，彼此餽送禮物，賙濟窮人。

這正是主再來，要在他聖徒的身上得榮耀，就是要使一切信的人感到驚訝的那日子，因為你們信了我們對你們作的見證。

在那日，你要說：「耶和華啊，我要稱謝你！因為你雖然向我發怒，你的怒氣卻已轉消；你又安慰了我。

你們要互相款待，不發怨言。人人要照自己所得的恩賜彼此服事，作上帝各種恩賜的好管家。若有人講道，他要按着上帝的聖言講；若有人服事，他要按着上帝所賜的力量服事，好讓上帝在凡事上因耶穌基督得榮耀。願榮耀和權能都歸給他，直到永永遠遠。阿們！

父親卻吩咐僕人：『快把那上好的袍子拿出來給他穿，把戒指戴在他指頭上，把鞋穿在他腳上，

末底改知道所發生的這一切事，就撕裂衣服，披麻蒙灰，在城中行走，痛哭哀號。他到了朝門前就停住腳步，因為穿麻衣的不可進朝門。王的諭旨和敕令所到的各省各處，猶太人都極其悲哀，禁食哭泣哀號，許多人躺在麻布和爐灰中。
