A man who endures trials is blessed, because when he passes the test he will receive the crown of life that God has promised to those who love Him.

Blessed is the one who perseveres under trial because, having stood the test, that person will receive the crown of life that the Lord has promised to those who love him.

Blessed is the person who keeps on going when times are hard. After they have come through hard times, this person will receive a crown. The crown is life itself. The Lord has promised it to those who love him.

Blessed is the man who remains steadfast under trial, for when he has stood the test he will receive the crown of life, which God has promised to those who love him.

God blesses those who patiently endure testing and temptation. Afterward they will receive the crown of life that God has promised to those who love him.

And though not seeing Him now, you believe in Him and rejoice with inexpressible and glorious joy,

Don’t be afraid of what you are about to suffer. Look, the Devil is about to throw some of you into prison to test you, and you will have affliction for 10 days. Be faithful until death, and I will give you the crown of life.

We know that all things work together for the good of those who love God: those who are called according to His purpose.

See, we count as blessed those who have endured. You have heard of Job’s endurance and have seen the outcome from the Lord. The Lord is very compassionate and merciful.

There is reserved for me in the future the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give me on that day, and not only to me, but to all those who have loved His appearing.

You will be hated by everyone because of My name. But the one who endures to the end will be delivered.

Listen, my dear brothers: Didn’t God choose the poor in this world to be rich in faith and heirs of the kingdom that He has promised to those who love Him?

Now everyone who competes exercises self-control in everything. However, they do it to receive a crown that will fade away, but we a crown that will never fade away.

And when the chief Shepherd appears, you will receive the unfading crown of glory.

Consider it a great joy, my brothers, whenever you experience various trials,knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance.But endurance must do its complete work, so that you may be mature and complete, lacking nothing.

But even if you should suffer for righteousness, you are blessed. Do not fear what they fear or be disturbed,

The victor: I will give him the right to sit with Me on My throne, just as I also won the victory and sat down with My Father on His throne.

Instead, rejoice as you share in the sufferings of the Messiah, so that you may also rejoice with great joy at the revelation of His glory.

do not listen to that prophet’s words or to that dreamer. For the Lord your God is testing you to know whether you love the Lord your God with all your heart and all your soul.

But if anyone loves God, he is known by Him.

Do not despise the Lord’s instruction, my son, and do not loathe His discipline;for the Lord disciplines the one He loves, just as a father, the son he delights in.

Remember that the Lord your God led you on the entire journey these 40 years in the wilderness, so that He might humble you and test you to know what was in your heart, whether or not you would keep His commands.

But as it is written: What eye did not see and ear did not hear, and what never entered the human mind— God prepared this for those who love Him.

A crucible for silver, and a smelter for gold, and the Lord is the tester of hearts.

And so, after waiting patiently, Abraham obtained the promise.

As many as I love, I rebuke and discipline. So be committed and repent.

Remember the earlier days when, after you had been enlightened, you endured a hard struggle with sufferings.

It was good for me to be afflicted so that I could learn Your statutes.

I will put this third through the fire; I will refine them as silver is refined and test them as gold is tested. They will call on My name, and I will answer them. I will say: They are My people, and they will say: Yahweh is our God.”

eternal life to those who by persistence in doing good seek glory, honor, and immortality;but wrath and indignation to those who are self-seeking and disobey the truth but are obeying unrighteousness;affliction and distress for every human being who does evil, first to the Jew, and also to the Greek;but glory, honor, and peace for everyone who does what is good, first to the Jew, and also to the Greek.

See how happy the man is God corrects; so do not reject the discipline of the Almighty.

By faith Abraham, when he was tested, offered up Isaac. He received the promises and he was offering his unique son,

And you have forgotten the exhortation that addresses you as sons: My son, do not take the Lord’s discipline lightly or faint when you are reproved by Him,

but showing faithful love to a thousand generations of those who love Me and keep My commands.

Then the King will say to those on His right,‘ Come, you who are blessed by My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world.

I know, Lord, that Your judgments are just and that You have afflicted me fairly.

Jesus said to them,“ I assure you: In the Messianic Age, when the Son of Man sits on His glorious throne, you who have followed Me will also sit on 12 thrones, judging the 12 tribes of Israel.And everyone who has left houses, brothers or sisters, father or mother, children, or fields because of My name will receive 100 times more and will inherit eternal life.

From ancient times no one has heard, no one has listened, no eye has seen any God except You, who acts on behalf of the one who waits for Him.

Know that Yahweh your God is God, the faithful God who keeps His gracious covenant loyalty for a thousand generations with those who love Him and keep His commands.

I said, Yahweh, the God of heaven, the great and awe-inspiring God who keeps His gracious covenant with those who love Him and keep His commands,

We love because He first loved us.

You are the ones who stood by Me in My trials.I bestow on you a kingdom, just as My Father bestowed one on Me,so that you may eat and drink at My table in My kingdom. And you will sit on thrones judging the 12 tribes of Israel.

But who can endure the day of His coming? And who will be able to stand when He appears? For He will be like a refiner’s fire and like cleansing lye.He will be like a refiner and purifier of silver; He will purify the sons of Levi and refine them like gold and silver. Then they will present offerings to the Lord in righteousness.

But let all who take refuge in You rejoice; let them shout for joy forever. May You shelter them, and may those who love Your name boast about You.

Before I was afflicted I went astray, but now I keep Your word.
