乃剝掃羅尸、斬其首、取其鎧甲、遣使至非利士四境、傳於偶像及庶民、

第恐敵人激我、仇人誤視、自謂我手力大、非耶和華所行、

宅地之人、為之欣喜歡忭、互相餽贈、蓋此二先知、曾苦宅地之人也、

遂擊非利士人、大行殺戮、尸相枕籍、後往以坦巖穴居焉、○

獻祭於其罟、焚香於其網、因其由此所得者肥、所食者豐也、

我之上帝耶和華歟、拯我脫於其手、俾天下萬國、咸知惟爾為耶和華、○

然為我名之故、別有施行、免我名見辱於列國、以其見我導之出也、

惟自高而抗天上之主、取其室中之器、至於爾前、爾與大臣后妃、用以飲酒、頌美金銀銅鐵木石之神、即無見無聞無知者、至於掌爾氣息、定爾道途之上帝、則不尊榮之、

乃斬掃羅首、剝其鎧甲、遣使至非利士四境、傳於偶像之廟、以及民間、
