Therefore this is what the Lord says:“ If you repent, I will restore you that you may serve me; if you utter worthy, not worthless, words, you will be my spokesman. Let this people turn to you, but you must not turn to them.

So the Lord says to Jeremiah,“ If you turn away from your sins, I will heal you. And then you will be able to serve me. Speak words that are worthy, not worthless. Then you will be speaking for me. Let these people turn to you. But you must not turn to them.

Therefore thus says the Lord:“ If you return, I will restore you, and you shall stand before me. If you utter what is precious, and not what is worthless, you shall be as my mouth. They shall turn to you, but you shall not turn to them.

This is how the Lord responds:“ If you return to me, I will restore you so you can continue to serve me. If you speak good words rather than worthless ones, you will be my spokesman. You must influence them; do not let them influence you!

Therefore, this is what the LORD says: If you return, I will take you back; you will stand in my presence. And if you speak noble words, rather than worthless ones, you will be my spokesman. It is they who must return to you; you must not return to them.

Therefore, this is what the Lord says:“ If you return, then I will restore you— You will stand before Me; And if you extract the precious from the worthless, You will become My spokesman. They, for their part, may turn to you, But as for you, you are not to turn to them.

Therefore thus says the Lord:“ If you return, Then I will bring you back; You shall stand before Me; If you take out the precious from the vile, You shall be as My mouth. Let them return to you, But you must not return to them.

Therefore thus saith Jehovah, If thou return, then will I bring thee again, that thou mayest stand before me; and if thou take forth the precious from the vile, thou shalt be as my mouth: they shall return unto thee, but thou shalt not return unto them.

Because of this, the LORD said,“ You must repent of such words and thoughts! If you do, I will restore you to the privilege of serving me. If you say what is worthwhile instead of what is worthless, I will again allow you to be my spokesman. They must become as you have been. You must not become like them.

Therefore Yahweh says,“ If you return, then I will bring you again, that you may stand before me; and if you take out the precious from the vile, you will be as my mouth. They will return to you, but you will not return to them.

萬有之主耶和華云、如爾遵我命、從我法、則可理我家、守我院、使我左右、為爾良弼、

當教我民、必別聖與不聖、潔與不潔、

祭司干犯律例、玩瀆聖物、聖與不聖、潔與不潔、不為剖別、我之安息日、不復恪守、棄我於民中、

於是爾得區別聖與不聖、潔與不潔。

惟成人則肉食、以其練習、精於思、能別美惡焉、

有能保爾無蹶、使爾歡然、無少瑕垢、可立其榮位前、

蓋我將賜爾口才智慧、使諸仇不能辯駁敵對、

我以上帝旨告爾、無隱乎爾、○

又曰、聽爾者、即聽我、拒爾者、即拒我、拒我者、即拒遣我者也、○

今我豈要人乎、要上帝乎、抑求悅於人乎、若求悅於人、則不能為基督僕、

汝必告以所當言、我將助汝二人說辭、所必行者、吾以示爾曹。亞倫必為汝告民、彼之於爾、代播言詞、爾之於彼、代為上帝。

彼甚悖逆、爾當以我言告之、無論聽否、

往哉、我必助爾說辭、示爾以所當言。

耶和華告耶利米曰、雖摩西撒母耳代民祈禱、我必弗恤、當遐棄之、屏之遠往、

耶利米曰迦勒底人必不委爾於彼、惟我所傳耶和華之命、爾其聽從、則可保生命、而納福祉。如爾不出、則耶和華所示之言、更為王誦之。

蓋是時、聖神必示爾以所當言也、○

如我言不藉爾名、而言斯事、則我中心如焚、爍於骨髓、不復能忍。

天使曰、我乃加伯列立上帝前、奉使詔爾、報茲嘉音、

人勤庶事、當在王所、必不久居賤役。

故宜儆醒常祈、得避將來之事、立人子前矣、○

又告我曰、人子、我所語爾之言、必耳聞心思、爾之同族、今已被虜、爾往見之、以我耶和華上帝之言相告、無論聽否。

基列之的庇人、以利亞告亞哈曰、我指所事以色列族之上帝耶和華而誓、今以後、數年間雨露不降、惟我言是聽。

曰我乃耶和華、當以我所諭告埃及王。摩西曰、我拙於口、法老豈聽哉。

我未嘗一時服之、使福音真理、恆存爾中、

耶利米曰、哀哉我母、何為產我、為通國之人所攻、我未貸眾以金、眾未貸我以金、藉權子母、而人莫不詛予。耶和華曰、我必釋爾、雖罹災害、必使敵善待爾。耶和華告民曰、爾雖堅剛若鐵、豈及北方之鐵、與銅交融、為不可毀乎。爾遍四境、作惡孔多、故爾之貨財、必見攘奪、不復償爾、我使之然。亦使爾在素未識之地、為敵人供役、蓋我震怒、烈如火之燃、延及爾曹。耶利米曰、耶和華與、爾鑒察予、眷顧予、伸我之冤、爾既恆忍、勿滅予命、我緣爾故、受人凌辱、爾所知也。萬有之主耶和華與、我為爾僕、聞爾訓言、服膺於心、因以悅懌。侮慢之人、我不樂與之坐、爾言降災、予懷歉仄、默然獨坐。予創傷未痊、殘缺未醫、曷故。爾之待我、若泉之忽竭、使人絕望、曷故。

此後吾不以貌視人、雖曾以貌視基督、今不復如此視之、

往尼尼微大邑、以我所言告眾。

頑嚚者無慷慨之名、貪婪者無博施之譽、頑嚚者流、出於口則悖逆、藏於心則不軌、所行奸偽、所言誕妄、上逆耶和華、下使民饑渴、
